As said Kentucky Bama battle with Kentucky probably in the lead. This will be interesting to see if he even has real interest. Shurburtt list him as a top 5 rising recruit. Believe he is a DT recruit for both Kentucky and Bama

It looks like Matt must impress in person because he attended UK's Jr Day and earned an offer that day. Then he attended Bama's Jr Day and earned an offer that day, and he has been taking off ever since.

Notre Dame is playing serious catchup here. Many believe he stays in state with Ky but Saban has been leaning hard the last few weeks. Maybe he splits the difference and picks the Irish. Right now, UK has the lead.

Visited Louisville this week and says he's most comfortable with UL's staff compared to other schools. He's a long way from making any final decision. This one will play out over the rest of the year.

Elam, who picked up an offer from Notre Dame yesterday, said that he had a blast at UK’s camp this week, and that the current 2014 commitments made it “really hard” to leave without pledging his allegiance to the blue and white. What stopped him? Elam says that he wants to wait to announce his decision until the US Army All-American Bowl in January, and that Ohio State and Notre Dame’s recent offers have “changed things a little.”
