Not all the invitations have been passed out, but so far, only two ND commits, Quenton Nelson and Elijah Hood, will be attending Nike's the Opening.

Interesting interview at the Rivals Challenge. Talked about each of his Top 5, Bama, USC, UCLA, OU, and ND. Kind of generic response (powerhouse team) to all them except for ND he said he sees how much they (ND) can get him the ball.

Interesting. I have been feeling that one of the strong points of Kelly's staff is helping recruits and players visualize the point they are trying to make.

Brent spent a lot of time with Quick in Chicago and they talked a lot about how much Michiah likes ND...

So after a quick read through the thread, I take it the staff is looking at him as a WR? Seems like this kid would be a great DB too after seeing his reviews. Any chance the staff makes this kid a two-way player? I know that's not very common, but with certain athletes, it seems justifiable. Quick may be one of those dudes that you just have to keep on the field.

His preference is to play WR in college. There's a chance he gets switched once on campus but no way he plays both ways.

A quiet weekend for Quick though. Until STL's update last night, I totally forgot he was at the Rivals Challenge. Didn't really hear anything about him all weekend.

Must be in a different thread that he mentioned how he likes how ND can get him the ball.

Edit: I can't seem to find that post, so it's possible I'm confusing him with someone else...

Nothing new really besides that he said there is talk of Adoree Jackson and him joining Luatua and Juju Smith (and probably Damien Mama) on OVs to ND for the USC game

I don't know why but as I was reading this I thought it was going to say that they wanted to all play together. Immediately got my hopes up and immediately shot them down.

If we can get Quick, Juju, Luatua, and Mama all out for the SC game, feel like a nice win could go a long way in all of their recuitments. Sounds like Mama is favoring USC with UCLA and BAMA behind SC, but I think we could get back in it with him.
