I don't doubt his commitment to ND; I really think he needs to simplify his speech and not worry about ameliorating his own preferences to others he may worry about offending. Cattle brand looks good.

Notre Dame will have five verbals attending this week's Rivals Challenge at Soldier Field. Hood appears to be the most charismatic, and all five possess the charm to encourage targets to make unofficial visits on June 10th, 11th. I have not seen an update on the Opening roster. Who besides Brent and Nelson have received invitations to the Opening?

Brent- The future Irish receiver is quite impressive physically and uses his big body and excellent body control to shield receivers and make tough catches. Brent also has deceptive speed that was evident when he made several long runs after the catch during one-on-ones. Look for him to move to four-star status in the near future according to 247Sports and he could be the best overall prospect in the state of Indiana this cycle.

Hood will also be at the Opening.

WR Justin Brent, Indianapolis (Ind.) Speedway: When we saw Brent live for the first time a year ago, he was raw but the physical tools were evident. Following a strong junior campaign, we made him a four-star prospect. After last weekend, though, it is obvious there is nothing raw about Brent's game now. He is a polished, dynamic pass catcher who can stretch the field vertically and is even more dynamic in the short and intermediate passing game.
