Seriously?
They haven't been able to play. You know that. But are you going to sit here and act like losing Lynch, Devonte, Tee, Greenberry (sorry but I count it when it's a five star WR that goes to a conference USA team on signing day), Kiel, and now EV hasn't hurt the overall athleticism of the team? I call that being stubborn.
I'm not saying our coaching staff isn't doing a great job, because I think a lot of these kids would've never even considered us beforehand and the team is obviously working it's way up to being a dominant force, but if you can't admit these losses haven't stung/slowed-down the process then you're either stupid/stubborn or just trying to be argumentative with me.
Besides being premature, your question is nonsensical. There is a big difference between how a kid does at ND, with this coaching staff, versus how he would do at another school. I don't know how well Lynch would've done here last year, but something tells me he would've been a decent contributor on 3rd downs. (I know, I know, "He didn't play assignment football", "he was a liability on running plays". Sorry, but that sounds like sour grapes to me. We were all singing his praises before he transferred and it looks as though his athleticism hasn't gone unnoticed judging from his appearance in multiple first-round draft boards.)
