Narrowed his list down to 7 and while he wouldn't give the full list, he did say ND made the cut. He looks forward to learning more about the school and program. Will visit geographically closer schools starting soon and hopes to visit ND this summer and with an official in the fall.

Nice. Planning two potential visit (one on his own dime), so the interest level IMO. Seems like we are in good enough position, but he probably won't decide until after the season starts.

has offers from every Pac 12 school now
By adding the Trojans to his list, the 5-foot-10 prospect has now picked up offers from every Pac-12 school except Stanford.

Baker intends to unofficially visit the Los Angeles schools early in the summer, perhaps in June when he is scheduled to participate in UCLA’s elite camp.

“If I visit UCLA, I’ll probably visit USC too since it’s close,” he said.

The No. 1-rated player in Washington has not started to think about official visits, but knows he wants to unofficially visit Oregon in the coming months. He also plans to camp with the nearby Huskies.

This fall, Baker is expected to lead Bellevue, which finished atop the national polls last year behind the play of UCLA signee and U.S. Army All-American Myles Jack.

“Myles and I have a strong relationship, but I wouldn’t say he is trying to get me to UCLA,” Baker said. “He wants what’s best for me. In the very beginning, we would joke with each other because UCLA offered me first. He’s been helping me out and telling me what to do and what not to do.

“I’ve been thinking I’ll make a decision after the season, most likely. I want to take all my official visits while I’m not committed. Once I commit, I’m not talking to any other colleges.”

Probably my favorite recruit we haven't landed yet. I love his athleticism. Plus him and KR as the two corners doesn't sound too bad.

1. Bishard "Budda" Baker
Bellevue (Wash.) High School | S | 5-9, 174

Several coaches at The Opening remarked that nobody had a better day than Baker on Tuesday. And it’s hard to argue with them. Baker, the nation’s No. 141 player, made the difficult catches look easy. Routine short passes often turned into long gainers. Passes that were overthrown turned into acrobatic diving catches. He even took to the air and laid his entire body out on one touchdown grab. He also took out a cameraman in the process but still managed to come up with the catch. -- Jeremy Crabtree

Just that he is high on our board and we are trying to get him to visit. Long shot I am afraid.

I really really really want this kid. His athleticism is unparalleled. Long sinewy muscle... it moved.

I love his athleticism but he does not really fit exactly what we are looking for in my opinion. He is not large enough to play safety. He could play corner, but I feel as though he might be a little short for that as well. He could play offense, but we have people higher on the board for that position.

Loy is hearing that even though Budda is very high on the irish and is a great fit for program and school he will probably stay out west. He has a close family member that is very sick and that is causing pause about going to far from home.
