What is that? Accident, on purpose, or for show?

Today is the annual practice where Urban Meyer invites all of the university out to practice. They literally bus a few thousand kids over to the facilities.

I assume this was for sure during that dealio.

Who knows... maybe he wasn't a fit on the field, maybe his academic woes continued at the next level... anything is possible.

Brutus made it happen.

Only thing I have seen on Bucknuts/Eleven Warriors is PT. looks like reason is unconfirmed at the moment though.

Can he play ILB?

David: You wanted to see me coach?
Liar: Yeah, come on in and shut the door David.
David: Okay.
Liar: I have some bad news. You wont be the next Percy Harvin.
David: ... wha..
- interrupted -
Liar: BOOM!
David: ...
Liar: Yeah, I said it. Now get out of my office. I've got to make a phone call to the next Percy Harvin..

Maybe his grades were actually too good?
Urban does need any intellectual wunderkinds spoiling his scumbaggery up.

There have been two comments that I've heard [neither being Perkins' own quotes]: 1). he was disappointed that when one linebacker went down for spring, someone else got the spot; and 2). "he didn't like the school".

Whether these make sense in reality, they sound like they make perfectly good sense.

Agreed OMM.

Should be interesting to see where he ends up.

What ND decommits/transfers have gone on to have good careers?

Of those those that have gone on to have good careers, which have had legitimate AA caliber difference making college seasons?

Not rhetorical, looking for a list if anyone has one. Seems an oddly high percentage of indecisive kids (i.e. the ones that get the most ink) are the ones who don't pan out in college. Obviously, with Perkins there were other issues keeping him from ND... so I always hoped he'd pan out.

Gio Bernard immediately comes to mind.

Blake Leuders is getting hyped up this spring in Palo Alto, so we'll see on that one.

But you are right Lax, I would definitely bet the majority have less than stellar careers.
