Look at Pepperdine? Yes, that's the best part! Second most beautiful school in the country in my opinion.

ND '73 BA-History

ND was quite a lot less expensive back then

My freshman year at ND I had a brother who was a senior at Dartmouth, an older sister a sophomore at Skidmore and a twin sister at Stephens College (Columbia, MO). My (sainted) father found a way to pay the freight for all four. Notre Dame was the least expensive, but not a mere drop in the bucket, all things considered.

The number of students attending ND hasn't increased all that much since my days there but the competition for admission has. With a little of the old supply and demand pressure, along with the rise in general costs of operation, tuition has risen.

(Way back) Then tickets to home football games came as part of the fee for student activities.

Its $60K now? Was less than half that when I went. A stretch even then.
My 3 y/o is going to be totally hosed.

Went to Georgia State University for 2 years, then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Still paying off my 7,000 dollar student loans. I'd like to think I made the right choice.
