He looks extremely smooth and polished. And you can't teach that.

100% of crystal ball picks Oklahoma, so i guess they lead.

The only person who has done the crystal ball for Corey is the Oklahoma insider so I wouldn't be rushing to name them his leader on the basis of one mans prediction.

I think Corey's film looks a little better than our current WR commit's. But I also think Josh Malone, and many other have better film than Corey. I'm not the staff, but maybe they'll slow play Corey?

I doubt. Seems the staff loves him.

No lolESPN because we like that it's an outlier this time?

I'd be very happy with another TJ

Why not? Until now, Oklahoma was his best visit by far.

Where did you see that? I remember him saying he was very impressed with that visit, but he's said the same about ND. He's also come all the way from Florida to visit ND three times already.

I'm pretty sure that's what Dallis Todd said but I could be wrong

You mean the Oklahoma commit?

While I think the staff likes Corey a lot, I wonder exactly how much they like him. And would they take him now or wait to see where the chips fall on a few other WRs first?

I hope they do, however I wouldn't be annoyed if they accepted his commitment were he to offer it in the near future.

It's at the stage of recruitment now where I'm probably overly optimistic with so many names still on the board and I'm hoping we get an insane WR class composed of some combination of Dupre/Blacknall/Sims/Malone/Quick/Scott/Dixon to go with Brent. However the chances of the happening are slim and the likelihood is that as those players start to fall of the board, you are relieved you took someone like Holmes earlier in the process.

As an example I was very meh when Fuller committed in the last class and thought the staff might have been better off waiting on accepting his commitment. But by the time NSD rolled around he was the WR I was highest on in our class and one of my favourite prospects outside of the 5 stars.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, that is what Dallis Todd said just a few days before committing to them.

He canceled his trip to Syracuse, his father's alma mater, and is planning a return trip to ND in June per Wiltfong.

Looking good for us here.

For those who don't believe the staff tells recruits who to recruit, this is strong supporting evidence...

do you think they tell them to go at those they feel are close to committing to give them that extra push?
