I have to admit man...these names being said in the video are making my head spin. Also, would you happen to know where I could find some junior highlights?

Soared up the 247 rankings from unranked to a :s::s::s::s: #57 overall.

“One look at Saviinaea’s film and you know that the kid is a difference maker. He’s huge, he’s physical and he’s relentless but what really clinched his move up to the Top100 was his performance at the NIKE Combine in Hawaii where he ran a laser-timed 4.66 at 6-3 and 231-pounds.” - Barton Simmons

Show him that talent show culture dance with Manti, Kona, and Justin and he's ours...

It doesn't seem the staff has tried that hard to keep Hawaii a pipeline of sorts.

Really wish we could maintain this pipeline... Tons of good players seem to be coming from Hawaii lately...

I think the Bush regime was more interested in that pipeline.

Also true. ;)

But seriously this guy does go to Obama's former high school. At least I'm pretty sure he went to Punahou. There was just too much irony here.

Kelly should go ahead and offer this kid nevertheless though. Notre Dame needs some stud ILB's and he seems to be one.

I am still befuddled why we are not on this kid. It's like we have stopped recruiting the islands all together.

#3 ILB in the country and Stanford leads for him. He also wants to hear from USC.

"Before I came to Punahou I was playing in a district that never won. It was tough getting destroyed game after game. I almost quit playing but then I came here and we were winning. A lot of people try and compare me to Manti Te'o all of the time, but I just want to keep playing hard."

Supposedly picked up an offer from us? There is a post on ISD to that effect.

i hope he did. i know we play the manti teo card quite a bit with other recruits, but this would be a home run pairing on a visit.

Too little, too late? Think we have a legit chance?

I think we have a legit chance with it still being so early in the process, but I would be careful about how we "play the Manti card" as it was stated earlier in the thread. I agree it would be a good and natural pairing on a visit, but we have to remember this young man is elite in his own right, and constant comparisons to Manti might not be what he is looking for in a university. It sounds like something he is already hearing, a lot, and I think we would do well to focus on Isaac and not the next Manti or Manti 2.0. $0.02

I think this is the first offer to a Hawaiian football player in the Brian Kelly era.

Kid looks like a player. Definitely would love to grab him. And also agree with everyone else that it would be great to see the staff hit the Islands at least a little bit more. But having said that, I'm fine with them only going after the top prospects from the area... seems like a lot of resources to commit to make it a regular thing.

If he officials here I'd feel pretty good about our chances. Manti is a living legend over there and I feel like having him give Isaac a tour of the school and talk with him would really give us a very good shot, BUT as of right now he is a Stanford lean.
