No I agree. I've always thought Hicks sounded like Jim Nantz not on valium. Nonetheless, it is surely an upgrade.

I would do the same...but I was in row E of section 10 Gave me chills just now to see the play from the broadcast, but it was crazy experiencing it live too. It just felt like things were going to continue to swing our way after playing so horribly all game and then that Pitt field goal went wide right.

As far as Dan Hicks becoming the new voice of Notre Dame football, I'm all for it if he can deliver each week.

It is just you. Everybody processes sensory input uniquely.
Some people can look at a musical score and "hear" the music. I can remember Mr. Hick's voice, but I can't visualize his face and appearance. And if you were to show me his picture in a few weeks, I would probably not recognize him.
I can hear Mr. Hammond in my sleep (actually, my nightmares).
Hicks and Mayock. This is going to be good!

Not going to say anything bad about Hammond. Just glad that Hicks is now the voice. A nice improvement.
