Just want to say I will be there. Say hey if you want. I'll be looking relatively spiffy, young and probably sitting front row every chance I get.

Any of you veterans give me a lay out of what exactly I can expect for the itinerary in regards to Thurs and Fri nights? Specifically dinner plans etc? Is there time to shoot other places or is the itinerary just jam packed.

They sent out a final itinerary yesterday morning I believe, should be in your email. Its really detailed haha.

This might be the stupidest question of the year on IE, but is this for people who want to eventually want to coach or is it just a good thing to experience? And Beau, are taking any classes in college that are about coaching?

Some people do go just for the experience, but that's not really what it is for. It's constant football talk. Schemes, mechanics, etc.

Currently, no. I might though. I know BSU does offer a minor in coaching, but I really don't think any of that would be worth my time. I don't think there's much I could learn in most of those classes. (But I guess that also depends on who teaches them.)

not a Patriots fan at all, but yes, that is his normal temperament. Actually, I'd say he was almost chipper in comparison to how he normally interacts with the media.

He's probably already eyeing Big Lou for next year more than any player from this year.

Took a personal day tomorrow and I'm going to bite the bullet and get out there bright and early for the morning practice. Can't wait...

Based on BB's comments, I think he's looking at KLM or Slaughter in the 7th rd or as UFA's. He mentioned injured players a few times...

Nix would be a great fit for the Pats, but very unlikely he's on the board when they pick in 2014. Regardless, Belichick, and the Pats, have benefited greatly from his relationships with coaches like Meyer (Hernandez, Spikes) and Saban (Hightower, Deaderick), and it appears he's looking to do the same with Kelly and ND. As a huge fan of both ND and NE, I support this friendship!

Belicheck delivered a pretty boring talk. Didn't really teach anything. And when he is talking he says "uh" and "um" a lot...

Liked Chris Ault's talk on the Pistol offense. He could've gone on for 3 days about it, but he got the basics out there which were great.

Talked to Denbrock about becoming a GA in the future and he provided me with some tips. He also mentioned something about injuries being a pain right now, but he was giddy about the early enrollee WRs!

P.S. - Where were you Phork?! lol

Nick Watkins's and Michiah Quick's coaches speak tommorow. As does the American Heritage coach, too bad we couldn't get anyone to visit.

Drake Harris' coach speaks Saturday. Again too bad we couldn't get him to visit.

Make sure you bring that camera with you my friend.

They were emphatic that no cameras were allowed. They had the ushers with sub machine guns ready to take you out if you produced one.

I am a huge Patriot and Belichick fan, but I had to turn him off after five minutes. If I paid for that, I would have wanted a refund.

Would not want to play for Bill Belichick if he's like that all the time...well...maybe for a couple million. He did come off kind of annoyed with the questioning, although I've seen him speak before and that is kinda his thing.

Besides Trestman being as eccentric as he is. I found that the worse speakers had been the NFL guys. Belicheck was the driest speaker I've ever heard and Lewis couldn't even operate a computer. The best by far had to be Ault and Diaco. Ault had so much passion and knowledge I wish he would have occupied both his and Belicheck's time slot.

Asked me what experience I had. The more the better. But he said keep going to clinics and to start attending camps so I can get to know him and guys like him better and to master my craft.

This isnt good enough Mr B. I am going to need a full detailed report of your ND coaching clinic experience beyond just a short quote from Denbrock.

I guess a lot of networking goes on at clinics and thats how people break into the coaching industry. Sounds like an informative and fun time, good luck to everyone who went this past year in your coaching career

Thinking about it. The Pro coaches are fluff anyways. Trestman was borderline looney tunes last year. Chris Ault could have talked for hours (and I would have listened). The meat and potatoes are the HS coaches and trainers.
