Someone got real defensive... lol

tattoo much?

Listen, you're fine here as long as you're respectful. If not, see ya. It's not a smack talk site, so feel free to post your bullcrap elsewhere. You won't win here, so why even bother?

And the funny thing is, I'm way more tolerant than many want me to be when it comes to outsiders. You're usually fine, and then you post some weak sauce, and then you follow up with this? There should be no need to ban you...just kindly leave or remember where you are. Thanks...

Only on an ND football board could someone be referred to as a "decomposing manatee". Hah! Education: a dangerous thing.

I just have to say, I didn't even know we had an O$U fan on this site and he has been a member longer than me. Funny how he wasn't showing his face around here when I first joined, but now that Urban is the coach...

What kids aren't giving him credit?

I meant for it to say alot of kids don't get credit for sticking with a team when the caoch leaves. I personally hate it that because then the kid is commitiing to the coach not the school.

from Cardiac Hill poster:

the story:

Finestpreps.com was the FIRST to break the news about Pitt running back Rushel Shell’s possible transfer out of the University of Pittsburgh. The story is still not set in stone but here is what we know from multiple inside Pitt sources

Pitt fans have not had very much to celebrate for the past few years with the Panthers football program, but fans could see the silver lining when the Panthers hired Head Coach Paul Chryst, who is set on restoring the Panthers back to former glory. After breaking news last night that star running back Rushel Shell is set to transfer out of Pitt, that silver lining seems to be fading.

This all started when Shell had multiple disagreements with Head Coach Paul Chryst and his staff. Shell has said that apparently Chryst and his staff possibly have been talking about the players behind their backs. It all seems like things escalated very quickly and came out of no where, but it looks looks like Shell might just be as good as gone.

We were contacted by some of our Inside Pitt sources yesterday night about the news. Shell did not practice yesterday supposedly because of an “Excused absence” but in actuality Shell came to the UPMC facility and asked for his transfer papers, then proceeded to get on the Pitt players shuttle bus and go back to his dorm. Later that night, Shell addressed some of his teammates regarding his situation. As of last night Shell is set to transfer to a school in either California or Arizona.

Another source we spoke to last night, spoke to Shell’s family and said that Arizona State could possibly be the program to land Shell. As we all know Arizona State is coached by former Pitt Head Coach Todd Graham. Graham was the coach that recruited Shell to Pitt so this might not come as a surprise that ASU is a top potential team. Shell also stated that teams like USC, UCLA, California and Arizona are also in the mix the land the highly touted running back.

Shell is having a sit down meeting with Head Coach Paul Chryst sometime today regarding his possible transfer. If Shell does actually transfer the Panthers would seem to be a bit thin in the running back department as Isaac Bennett and Malcolm Crockett would take most of the carries.

the interesting parallel too is that Shell being a young father chose to stay close to home at Pitt to be around his newborn infant and be a part of its upbringing. He turned down Alabama amongst others to do this.

Transfering from Pitt. Very good news for us. Had 640 yds and 4 TD as a Freshman last year.

Yeah. Now why is he suddenly willing to go to school on the other side of the country?

All I know is the quote above names Call and Arizona. Same as Neal and possibly Ferg. Sounds like some sort of conspiracy.

No we are the ones who have 3 5 Star recruits transfer in 1 calendar year. 3 studs and two others who are high rated 4 star recruits in 1 year is very concerning. We can spin it how we want, but it isn't good.

This transfer hurts Pitt a lot more than any transfer hurt ND. He would have been the starter as a true sophomore. Plus it's not like he was home sick or had Aaron Lynch or Davonte Neal type situation, he's from Pittsburgh. This would be like if (knock on wood) Jaylon Smith transferred after this year.

Can you remind me who the 4 stars are (Prestwood one of them perhaps)? Are you counting Tee as 1 of the 5 stars? If so, remember he didn't qualify academcially, this is not the fault of the staff. If Prestwood is one, he may have been an academic casualty as well. Another that is not the fault of the staff.
