Since she started working at Scout I have noticed an increase in articles Irish Eyes puts out, they've been beating 247, II, and ISD on occasion. Coincidence?

Nope. Relevance saving hire by Scout. I give them props.

I really thought that you were going to post that she was your girlfriend and that is how you post so fast as you get the info first from her. Disappointed.

Only Biggers (who probably gets paid a **** ton of money) rivals her in terms of production. It's quite impressive actually

Biggers, Sapp, and Christian from ISD are the best in terms of volume of quality information in my book. She is quickly rising up to those type of ranks though.

Christian is so underrated because of the limited reach / visibility of ISD, and that his scoops always go out from the ISD handle, not his own.

Yeah I was talking about just Scout but overall those guys are really good too. TremendousUM is really good too. Rather young guy, who had his own blog thing and 247 hired him. All about creating good relationships.

At this point, I think he's just tired of and pleasing the media. Sapp could probably get an update from him tommorow saying ND is still #1. Get him to visit with his parents and we should be fine.

Or you could just shut down the thread, opening it when something happens. Sorry, but I am in an absolutely ambivolent mood. There has been so much "nothing going on" even when some things have been happening.

Four-star running back Elijah Hood of Charlotte Catholic (N.C.) said after Sunday's action that one team stands out at the moment, and it's North Carolina.

"They've been recruiting me since I was kind of young in my high school career," Hood said. "I have a great relationship with their coaches and stuff. I like the school, and love the program in general."

Hood, No. 56 in the 247Composite, recently visited the Tar Heels for the UNC-Duke hoops game, and was impressed.

For what it's worth, he said he doesn't mind that North Carolina just signed some talented backs in February, notably four-star prospect T.J. Logan.

"I have no problem with that," Hood said. "It just shows me that's what kind of player they're trying to get in there. Also, me and T.J. are two totally different kinds of backs.

According to Hood, Georgia, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech also are factors.

No reason to shut down the thread.

He's doing the EXACT thing he should be doing. Talking to the media has only put pressure on him from more and more and more people. He's one of those kids who LOVES every single trip he's on (and why not? You're getting the red carpet treatment from everyone) and since reporters are all over him the minute he steps off campus, he speaks his mind off the emotions of the great visit he just had. It's been a long time coming that he stops talking so much, but better late than never.

We have quite a few players on our roster who have wavered in their love for ND or who have been in love with every school they visit and are vocal about it. Eddie V anyone? EV fell in love multiple times and finally decided to shut off the media, to his benefit. Hood is now doing the same, albeit way sooner in the game. Good for him. I hope he sticks with it for his own sanity.

I know if my kids were ever in his position the only one talking to the media would be me (so it could help me get my rap career off the ground yo!!!)

This is what happens when you talk with ND insiders and you say ND is the leader and when you talk with NC insiders you say NC is the leader. Then is time to speculation and people is confused. He learns about that and now he is doing the right thing.

I wouldn't mind if ND wrapped up Nathan Stark's commitment and in doing so, made Elijah's decision a little bit easier.

Maybe these UNC reporters need to ease up a bit, that's two kids (Elijah Hood and Bentley Spain) in one week saying the are not talking to the media anymore

I wasn't refering to the recruit, his father or you getting your rap career off the ground, NDILAHENDERSON, yo-yo, Laugh out loudest!

I agree whole heartedly with your post and find the humor in your post quite delightful. I guess I made the request to temp-shut it down because nothing (worthwhile) was happening, and because comment after comment came in, wondering what he was doing, (a seventeen year old kid that vascelates back and forth can you believe it), and his shocking parents, (when no one even had any facts, let alone the facts straight! Sooner or later someone from that family may look at this thread and they may be shocked at the stupid uninformed stuff that was presented there, for a while.
