Leftwich was 939 of 1,442 passes, 65.1%, 11,903 yards, 89tds and 28ints over his career at marshall. Combine that with being a top 10 pick, thats pretty damn good in my opinion lol

i've never seen any highlights of leftwich in high school, but after watching dawkins and his name being brought up, that might be spot on. i concur

plus one thing is for sure...if he signs with us he will not be needed to come in and play right away so the staff will have time to work out any mechanical issues.

Tommy and Hendrix were in the same recruiting class. Tommy was an EE, Hendrix wasn't. Tommy played some as a freshman. Hendrix I think has two more years of eligibility, but doubt they would give fifth year to guy who at best would be 3rd string QB.

Scenario A) Chryst commits to Stanford -> USC offers and probably becomes leader for Dawkins -> ND moves to another QB/doesn't take one

Scenario B) Chryst commits to USC-> We remain leader for Dawkins/Stanford becomes involved with Dawkins

Why two QBs? Golson, Kiel, Zaire, a 2014 QB and possibly Hendrix. Unless you think there will be a transfer.

Not gonna hold my breath for any kid from Cass Tech, particularly with the skunkbears recruiting so well.
