Sorry I had to, its been one of those kind of mornings......

Lose Wood and get Hood, I think last year we had about 19 before the season even started, it would be nice to get that kind of start and get a foundation and bond similar to the Mob. It's one thing to recruit players but the last couple classes seem to have bonded well and seem like a tight bunch.

I saw earlier South Bend was projected to get 9" of snow by this Friday. Not sure if this is stil the case as I saw this over the weekend, but how could we talk about a recruit visiting without talking about the weather. Inconceivable!

I would like to see Elijah get on board early and start attacking the class! Top 15 player overall on Rivals could hold a little clout. As long as we get him in the end I'm good.

I agree...we need to get that early signature guy who can act as the catalyst like Jaylon last cycle.

FWIW the guy over at DD (he posted here as well) who knew Rabasa and said he would be Irish also knows Elijah and feels he will be Irish.

It's good he's not in SB today. 11 Degrees, snowing, biting wind, and a wind chill of around -4, during the day.

My walk to school was hell frozen.

This weekend is supposed to be sunny and in the 40s. I really like this kids smashmouth way of running.

He seems a little bigger and stronger than the kids we have brought in lately. His stats are through the roof, but I cannot remember how good his league is, I believe he went to the same school Mark Harrell went to. The fact that people are talking about him playing linebacker if he doesn't play runningback, is rather amazing. I don't know about his hands.

Over 5,000 yards in two seasons, with 3,300 coming his junior season is way outside the bounds of rational expectations. This guy averaged about 11 yards every time he touched the ball! His upside must be fantastic. His rating could change due to camps and senior year performance, and I don't place much anymore on forty times. Someone that could look at his tape and evaluate his performance and provide a narrative would be appreciated.

Did you watch this kids film. No one put him on his a$s. He was always no more than one step from a touchdown. And though I wouldn't rate him the fastest I have ever seen, his acceleration looked elite to me. Oh yeah. And this kid looked like a real street fighter to me. I mean he wanted the TD first, to mix it up second, and then the rest was all high motor. Like the kid didn't stop sprinting on defense. His ability to deliver a blow while carrying the ball seemed to be above elite, epic or legendary, at least. Thoughts?

Should Hood commit to Notre Dame, Charlotte, NC would have five players(Farley, Harrell, Okwara, and Shembo) on the football roster. In the 2012 3 AA championship game, Guilford, and its running back TJ Logan, embarrassed Charlotte Catholic. Logan ran for 510 yards and 8 touchdowns. Hood had thirty carries, 133 yards, 2 touchdowns.

His film is phenomenal. I like it more than Bryant's, it's actually the most impressive running back film that I can remember in recent memory. Most running backs are usually fast(Keith Marshall) or they are a bowling ball(Derrick Green). Greg Bryant has a mix of both but not even close to the mix that Hood has.
