^This.

The kid looked like a high 4:s: corner at the AA game. I think it will depend on how the RBs show up to camp and how well they adapt to the pace of the college game, but if they all pan out how they should, I see him moving over. Just my opinion.

As for Hood... I'm with Lax. Could be a Corey Robinson situation where he visits ND, then on his way to Mich (G Tech in Robinson's case), he calls and says, you know what, I'm in.

I think you're thinking about wake forest. He said when he was on that visit all he could talk about was ND. I think it was the next week.

Weird... I thought it was GT. You may be right. There was a recruit that left junior day this past year on his way to another school and ended up not making it all the way but committing to the Irish. Maybe an OL? Either way... you get my point. Hood could be Irish very soon and not even give UM a chance.

It was Wake Forest for C. Robinson. As for the bolded, you're thinking of McGlinchey. He was on his way from ND to Wisconsin with his parents when he asked them to pull over and he called ND to start the commitment process.

And this is why I didn't win Rookie of the Year and was beat by Allgator.

I knew class of 2012 would pull through for me though!

So let me get this right... ALLGATOR won Rookie of The Year, Troll of The Year and Most Likely to Get Banned.... then proceeded to immediately get banned?

No sir, McGlinchey was heading to another visit and told his dad that he wanted to commit to us. Truth!

McGlinchey was on his way to Madison when he turned around on the Toll Road and went back to South Bend to offer his pledge.

Wait wait wait...I thought it was McGovern? ...no?

McGovern committed to Kelly while on campus. Kelly made his pitch and McGovern asked him, where do I sign up?

He did a good job playing it cool leading up to that. We were all busy talking about how we need to be locking up lifelong ND fans from Chicago like Kyle Bosch ... didn't even know that McGovern was another one.

Unless the staff plans on moving some of the current RBs to other positions, how can we afford to overload at RB like this? We're currently projected to have 8/8 or 9/8 at RB/ Z WR in 2014 (depending on where Onwuala settles). Hood would make that 9 or 10. Adding Michel would make that 10 or 11.

Starting Onwualu at X/W WR makes a lot of sense, since that moves him from an overloaded position to one of need. But after that, I don't see a lot of potential to rectify the numbers through position switches. Other areas of need are DL, LB and OL, and none of our RB/ Z WRs can play those positions.

I know least of all, but it works for Saban. Look at his numbers. They make ours look puny by comparison. Granted graduation is not an issue at Bama; but. he does sell the rb's on shared time pretty well.

Seriously is that Alford walking out behind him at the :36 second mark? Well ok it isn't really but it looked like it. He sounds a lot like Tuitt when he talks. Has a great head on his shoulders.
