Funny thing happened: I click into Deon Hollins' thread yet griping about TP (for the eleventy billionth time) is all I see.

Odd.

Did anyone find out if the coaches got in for the home visit last night?

What is strange about the above "discussion" to me is why anyone cares about who gets "credit" for "predicting" anything or not. This is a classic psychological situation where excessive focussing in a nearly fictional "community" of opinions [in the sense that IE board members don't actually interact with one another in a real world way] creates fantasy illusions about who is what and who has more vBucks and who needs to be stroked or bowed to. Really quite Whack when one steps back from it.

When the board diverts from actual open friendly information-sharing into these "You Dammed Little Punk" grenade-throwing sessions, it becomes more like a role-playing fiction experience that the rest of us have to wade through to try to learn things. "Taking credit" or tooting one's own horn about priority is rather pathetic and adolescent.

But I'm probably just old, and all this crap-slinging is supposed to be part of fictional personalities playing over-the-top as trolls, negativists, primal screamers, desperately seeking some strange fun in b!tching about things. I wish it would stop, and I'm sorry for contributing to the thread derailment which has been well underway.

I have a good friend that follows UCLA recruiting closely and he told me that Greg Biggins reported last night that Hollins' family cancelled the visit with the ND coaches. Anyone else see this?

I fixed it for you. Way to go fellow Fiannan!

That sucks for him if his parents think going to UCLA is better than Notre Dame and not letting him decide.

IDK I just find that shaddy and disrespectful of the family to just turn them away like that. He just came back from an official visit that ND paid for him and his family and all they want in return is to come down and talk a little more.

IMO - if they did deny them

Don't know anything for a fact but from the teasers I saw doing a google search it is being said that the Hollins' family cancelled and not ND. If that's true then HE GONE imho.

When's the last contact allowed? Diaco needs to sit on the front porch. I will gladly send him coffee as needed.

If he wants to shut it down, more power to him. If Folston did this to Auburn, we'd be clapping.

That being said we need to get some answers in the next 3 days to really lock some things down.

Sunday is the quite period which just means there is no face to face contact unless a prospect is on campus. Monday starts the dead period but even then I think they get one phone call between then and Wednesday.

Hmmm, ok. I could have sworn Sapp said it was Saturday in an EV thread on 247. I'm probably just confusing things...as usual.

Do we have confirmation the Hollins family cancelled the scheduled visit or is it still just a rumor?
