I had trouble sleeping last night, after the great visits by the prospects this past weekend, trying to figure out how they are all going to fit into IrishMob 13. I can't even imagine how the coaches feel. I just don't see how all the pieces are going to work with the interest we are receiving from all these different players.

We don't have enough available spots!!

I'm stressed!!

Lol don't stress too hard. EV is going to visit Bama this weekend and bring his fam, just like he did to ND; Hollins is still committed to UCLA and remains strongly interested in being a Bruin; Prevot will commit to A&M as soon as he gets the green light; Fitts is concerned about distance; Isaac is tweeting about how he knows he belongs at USC.

This problem will work itself out naturally. I am cautiously optimistic about Hollins, neither optimistic nor pessimistic about EV, and decidedly pessimistic about the other three (although we certainly aren't out of it with any of them). I think at best only two of these kids will pick ND, and we definitely have two spots left.

Thanks guys. Just thinking about the possibilities makes my head spin.

No matter what happens from here on out, this class is fantastic. Looking forward to how it unfolds.

at least this is a nice problem to have...remember the not so long ago days when we were scrambling to sign a top 30 class? Kudos to Coach K and his staff for an outstanding recruiting plan that is reaping rewards.

Yep. Hell I'd be happy with LJ Moore and a Punter/Kicker.

I feel the same more or less. I am extremely happy with the class we have now, and adding more to it would be great. If not, fill the spots with 5th years.

Either way, I just want to use all 85 next year.

I'm happy with this class as constructed AS LONG AS USC doesn't close with a flourish and add a bunch of 5:s: style guys. If that happens I'll be a little angry faced that we didn't wrangle in any big fish.

Unless the staff really likes a particular specialist, I hope we'd save the scholarship. ND can probably bring in sufficient ST talent year after year simply by offering preferred walk-on status.

This is a really good class as it is, but they need at least one more DL. If ND wants to get back to the NC game they need to bring in multiple elite DL every year.

Whiskey, that was more of a poke saying I'm happy with what we have. Not that I want to use a free ride on a ST guy. I wouldn't be unhappy if they did though.

No, he is off the board.

Lax, I thought the staff checked in on LJ 3 weeks ago, or called him, or something. Could of swore I read something right after the first of the year. Did he, or we finally cut the string?

Not sure if this has been touched on or not, but I keep wondering the relationship between EV, Fitts, and Prevot, if any (besides the obvious USC connection. If we see one guy commit, do one or both of the other guys follow? Not making any predictions or anything like that but it's just something I keep going back to while dreaming about the finish to an incredible class and didn't know if anyone has had similar thoughts?

How much time did they spend together during any free time on their visit?

Most important point made, 1/28/13, imo.
