I'm saying you are right that he probably won't be part of this class but I don't think it will because there is "no room in the inn". I know it been pretty quiet lately but I have a feeling we have lost momentum the past few days. No solid proof just my guy feeling.

Ive been under the impression that it's either/or with Holilns and Prevot. If Deon commits on his visit, they may not want to fill another spot with Prevot unless no one else comes on board. They almost certainly will want to keep those spots open for players of different positions. That's all I'm suggesting.

I could see EV visiting then encouraging Prevot to get on board quickly.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I predict a 80% chance that Prevot will not be a part of this class. After the 25th, there simply may be no room in the inn.

Or he just commits to A&M next weekend which I think he might.

And we get to hear more of the "it's not oversigning" argument?

About to make the biggest decision of his young life, and his leader suddently switches from ND (#1 in degree value for African American recruits) to aTm (which has the 5th largest Racial GSR Disparity in the nation).

Crazy.

I agree with you so much. We all do.

But I've come to realize in recruiting that ND can only do so much for kids they go after. Like the saying goes, you can only lead a horse to water. It blows my mind that recruits don't care more about getting a valuable degree for no money, but most simply don't. Hopefully Prevot comes around and realizes the opportunity he has. It's certainly more than the rest of us ever had.

Come young sir and realize what glory awaits you.

PS - I've been drinking a bit.

I havent heard him say they are is number one, only thing I heard was he rescheduled his visit because he has a friend at Tamu during that specific weekend so he changed the date to see them

I don't see him as a TAMU kid. The guy would rather read novels than watch TV and go out to party. If there is room he is Irish.

I think he ends up at Texas A&M. And I'm not sure if we hold on to either of our two RB recruits.

BCS game performance + Brian Kelly + Manti Te'o has completely killed the momentum we had. Completely killed it. Went from hot program to a laughing stock. I just hope we keep all the kids we currently have at this point.

NOPE! Just seeing how things are trending. Most likely we keep everyone and add a guy or two but miss on the big fishes. But there is a solid chance of this all having a cataclysmic bad end depending on what happens with Bryant/Folston. Both are actively talking to coaches of other programs so while we're the "favorite" I wouldn't hold your breath on either.

I hope we can land him because i think he can be a very special player.

I just watched his tape and i think he's one of the most explosive players i ever seen from HS. He reminds me a lot of Barkevious Mingo coming out from HS. Same skinny frame (Mingo took a redshirt year to gain weight) but aggresive players, elite first step, very explosive in the LOS, pass rushing skills and they can play from a two and three point stance (very important in our hybrid defense) .. both are great rushers off the edge. I like him a lot.

All in all -- it's a win win for ND for these types of players we have left on the board. If Notre Dame doesn't get them well it seems that maybe USC won't either so chalk that up for a battle won.

Of course I would love these guys to be ND
