It's very strange that he never visited his girlfriend despite her supposedly having leukemia and being in a car accident.

They had set up several meetings and "Lennay" came up with excuses and cancelled each time. We're also talking about a cross-country flight which would be extremely expensive for someone who does not have a lot of money and is also in the middle of a busy football season. "Lennay" told him to worry about school and football and tried to play it off as being unselfish and putting Manti's best interests ahead of her own.

Te'o said she was nearly killed in a accident before she was diagnosed with leukemia.

There are three different dates it supposedly happened. Late 2011, last January, or as recently as last April. It's all really weird

Anything is possible, im not saying they had to use Skype or facetime, but college age people have laptops and smartphones, and when in an online romance for that long, you would think it would eventually lead to them using the technology to have a closer relationship.

I mean, a Stanford and ND student, two bright, good looking people ,but you stay in a relationship for years on the phone, but never figure out a way to see each other in person or even Skype?
