Hopefully landing Redfield and Prevot will increase our chances with Vanderdoes and Fitts. The faith of converts tends to be infectiously zealous.

Why is Prevot still a USC verbal? Rather he ends up at USC or it seems as though his recruitment is pretty open at this point.

He hasn't decommitted but the buzz, as reported by Wiltfong, is that he won't end up at SC. We have as good a shot as anybody, perhaps better.

I have to agree that the staff may have something up their sleeves that isn't obvious to us as we count the numbers. Besides the MS, AA, etc., there may also be a commit that they feel might be dicey up until NSD.

With all of them visiting at the same time, I wonder if any of them will get a little anxious and want to commit during their visit to make sure they get a spot?

I trust the staff if they want him, but every tackle looks like he is a wr and his qb just threw an int and he grabs some jersey to bring him down. Could be a quick edge rusher with some major player development.

May have to change visit to Feb 1st. Friend is visiting A&M on the 25th and he would like to go with him. All hinges on if Hunt commits to A&M this weekend. If he does then they wouldn't have a spot for Prevot.

Looking to possibly visit A&M on the 25th because he has a friend that is going and pushing back his visit to ND to Feb 1st.
The A&M visit depends on whether or not Daeshon Hall commits to the Aggies.

Thanks.

Idk how I feel about that. He and EV are fairly close right? As in, he recruited EV to stay at USC pretty hard....? I'd feel better knowing they visited ND together.

Not only that, but he could left out if we get multiple commits that day and fill up the class, no?

That is not catostrophic but it kind of stinks. ND has a ton of guys coming on the 25th. It would have been nice if he was a part of it.

Deon Hollins..the floor is yours

that's kind of how i feel...i mean i preferred prevot but if he doesn't feel urgency then either of 2 things...the coaches are cool w/ this and have talked or he isn't as high on nd as once thought

USC LB coach Scottie Hazelton will become the new defensive coordinator at Nevada, a source just told CBS.

Does this help us here? Did Torrodney have a relationship with him?

The buzz is has been that he won't end up at SC anyway, so while it certainly can't hurt I don't think it really helps either. Plus I don't think he was going to play LB for them. But who knows, maybe this will push him a little farther from SC. I hope so.

Yes. Unless Pendergast plans to implement a 3-4, the Trojans have run a 4-3 for as long as I can remember. USC allegedly sees Prevot as a situational pass-rusher, which is basically limited to a WDE in such a scheme.

Don't really like the development with the date change. Thought he would be a positive influence on EV. Will be interested to see how this plays out... think there is a much smaller chance of him being part of the class now.

Agreed. If he had to switch, it'd be nice to get him there BEFORE EV, so he can then sing praises of ND to EV.

I don't see EV as a follower soon don't think it makes much difference. Plus dont we have redfield that can do that anyway?!

Yes and no. By all accounts, EV has never met Redfield, whereas it sounds like him and Terrodney are close.

Redfield and Vanderdoes have never met. Prevot was (at one time) reportedly recruiting Vanderdoes to recommit to USC the hardest, so many assume that Prevot is closer to him than most of USC's recruits.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I predict a 80% chance that Prevot will not be a part of this class. After the 25th, there simply may be no room in the inn.
