I know Max is a legitimate 6'2" and 195 lbs. Which is not a small human being by any stretch of the imagination. BUT;

That picture with him between McGovern and Bivin makes him look tiny. Alex doesn't help.

I stood face to face with Hunter at last spring and he is close to the biggest human being I have ever seen!

PS. I don't know where they got 6'3" for Alex. He alway had been listed as 6'4" and I was begining to think that was a little shy. He and Jaylon are not eye to eye.

Except "Carpenter" takes too long to say. And when I think of carpenters, 2 (3) people come to mind for me-- Jesus (Joseph) and Schneider from that Valerie Bertinelli show.

I don't want to equate Max with Schneider from a bad 80's sitcom. Ever.

Also, was Bookman from "Good Times" a carpenter...or just the maintenance man?

Does "The Honey Badger" wear out your voice box?

(I'm not talking about your tonsils, we know those are beat up.)

One nickname is 5 syllables the other 4.

So who is really 6'3"? Is Anzalone 6'3" and Redfield's listed height is generous? Is Anzalone really 6'4-5" and Max is 6'3"?

It appears Anzalone is quite a bit taller.

Where is Diaco in the picture when you need him.

Everyone has been in pictures where they appear shorter or taller. I wouldn't read into it too much.

Also hearing Diaco is hurt. Injured his leg. Favoring it bad.

I heard he was bitten by a King Cobra.

Unfortunately, the cobra passed away this morning...

Irishog don't give a sh!t about Honey Badger.

Besides, I'm from Tennessee-- I talk slow, so it takes me longer to say words than other people.

Reps for the tonsils line-- good one!

Wait a minute. If he isn't 6'3" like he said, can the staff rescind the scholarship offer? Saban did that, true story.

camera position is illusional. Our new guy is further back than anyone else [remember the ridiculous shot of our captains standing "across" from Navy's --- yes we're bigger but not an entirely different species].

Also it doesn't help that Alex is standing next to someTHING that IS a member of a different species --- a holdover Giant from the Age of Legends. A friendly Dancing Giant [off the field] no doubt, but a Giant nevertheless.

Good guys to be joining up with, eh Alex?? Go get 'em now supermen [and Giant].

Max, you have made the best decision you'll ever make in your life. Decommitting from University of Spoiled Children and coming to a real institution and you'll get the best chance to get a National Championship of any team you had as your finalists.

GREAT PICKUP ND...YES!

Oh yeah, that is next to NDdomer2, he is one monster, too! Talk about a gynormous guy!

Well, he has a big heart (and a good brain), anyways!

I do think Max will be a big help not so much for just pure speed. I'm going to refer you to this post.

Baratti ran a laser-timed 4.4 40 as a recruit. Collinsworth was the fastest gunner on our coverage teams before he got injured. And Farley won the starting FS job this year in no small part due to his athleticism.

Lack of speed isn't a problem for our DBs. Give McCarron all day to throw and he'd pick apart any secondary in the country.

I suppose I should've elaborated a little more on my opinion. Based on spending to much time looking at our team and the incoming recruits, I just love the upside a kid like this has. I can't wait to see how the coaching staff develops these young men and helps us turn that corner! Great season and whomever on here knows Diaco tell him to stay away from Syracuse!

Apparantly Rivals has word of reaction from Max on their board. Anyone want to break it down for us?

Jaylon's been flying around the country reassuring fellow recruits that he will in fact be the next head coach at ND. No need to worry. #IrishMob
