Apparently we told him yesterday morning that we are no longer recruiting him, which is why he said yesterday afternoon that he is down to Clemson and Florida. per TV.

Not that it matters. Maybe interesting in a who-dumped-who kind of way. Also may show that we are pretty confident about other options in play.

Thats exactly how I took Sapp's comments was we called to let him know because we feel really good about others. We then can also use that as pitch(we stopped recruiting so and so because we are all in on you or you are the right guy, etc.)
