In a bar so not reading every post but thought I say. That I love this lineman class. Personal opinion is montelus and Elmer are the two best prospects. With bivin having insane upside but being a little raw. Word around ND was when every service was down on Elmer he worked out at ND and blew the coaches away. I love mcgovern's heart and potential but I think it probably takes him the longest to transition

not sure if serious ....

if so, yes, football awards banquet. Like 10 of the commits are OV'ing, and Heuerman is coming for an unofficial (already used his OV for Michigan game). Also -- nbd -- Greg Bryant is coming for an OV.

Out for the Under Armour All-American Game game per Rivals (Knee)

If I am not mistaken, he was playing most, if not all, of his senior season with a torn MCL. Almost led his team to state championship game but lost Ty Isaac and Joilet.

Rest up son, nothing left to prove.

Notre Dame should be very happy to get these 5 young men...They could all be stars!
This ol ine is the most intriqing recruiting aspect for me in quite a few years. Off the charts on raw upside. What I would like to see is them become the policeman of the team and make the decision early that the success of the team turns on this group as the engine that runs the show. 6'6"/6'7" across the board with a 6'9" thrown in for good measure. Unbelievable upside. Longo is going to have a field day playing with this group. Notre Dame may need to order a few more tractor tires.

My only concern is whether any of these guys have the body-type and ability to kick inside to guard or center. With Golson being a generous 6 feet tall and guys roughly his size, like Zaire, being our QBs of the future, it's a legitimate concern to wonder whether our QB will be able to see over and throw over a line that goes 6'6"/6'7" across the board.

Really agree... I think a lot of times we get caught up in the skill position groups, or talk at length about defensive prospects (and certainly, who can blame us). But really, this group, with the guys like Stanley and Harrell thrown in, could be the strength of the entire offense in future years. I love how Kelly is already lining up guys in 14 too. Games are won in the trenches, and considering how much emphasis is placed in modern football on elite pass rushers, recruiting and maintaining a good offensive line is crucial. Pumped for these kids.

Bivin played center in the Under Armor game and practice that week.

Bivin and John will play inside.

24/7 is reporting McGovern actually had a torn MCL and that he just underwent a procedure to repair it, and is under the direction of the ND staff. Will be out 5-6 months and he thinks he should be good to go by fall camp.

It's good that it's happening now and he can heal. Was expecting him to red-shirt any ways. Think he is gonna be a very good guard for us by year 3 on campus.

Not the same as the earlier article from Keith Arnold.
