I just got insanely nervous for this game. 60 minutes of good football and we are back.

I was joking with my dad earlier that it seems each week for the last 6 weeks or so has each been the biggest game for our program's history for about the last 20 years...and tomorrow is no exception.
I honestly hope we start strong and just lay the hammer on them the way Poodle used to do it to us.

GO IRISH!!!!

Whittek will make an interesting watch either way, but if he hits on all cylinders it will be as though Barkley never got hurt and then this will be the best offense ND has faced.... Lets hope he wets the bed.

What better way to assure such bedwetting than to give him nightmares all game! Did anyone say Freddy Kruger? Slash him up front 7!!

Pep rally was pretty cool with the bookstore coming out and the cheerleaders. Kory minor and Tom carter were some of the notable names to speak also McKnight the wide reciver from 2004. So many drunk people lol I can't imagine them tommorrow. I can't wait so many more people there than in years past because we are # 1. Go Irish!

Oklahoma's offense is better than USC's.

It is of utmost importance that ND kicks the ball out of the endzone. That is one thing UCLA did every time and it took LEE out of any big special teams play.

Brindza has been very inconsistent about his kickoff length and I don't think its by design either. Against a very good Pitt returner Brindza wasn't even once able to get it deep enough to make the guy think anything other than return it and on at least three occasions Pitt started drives past the 35 yard line after kickoffs. Very frustrating for a guy that supposedly has a very strong leg.

Off work at 6:00am then a 6 hour drive to L.A. and hoping to not get raped by scalpers before the game. I'll be nice and sauced up so I hope the SC fans in whatever section I end up in are friendly.

I would say we kick off, we haven't allowed a team to score on the opening drive all season. On top of that, 3/5 times this season when we kicked off, we ended up scoring on our next possession after we forced them to punt, and to cap that off, the last two games we kicked off, we forced them to punt and we then scored on our first drive. I'd rather Max come out and end up being demoralized on his opening drive when they end up having to punt the ball.

Navy - we received opening drive and scored on GAII 56 yd TD

Purdue- we received, no points ended up punting.

Mich St- we received, no points ended up punting.

Michigan- we kicked off and they ended up punting.

Miami- we kicked off and they ended up punting.*

Stanford- we kicked off and they ended up punting.

BYU- we received, no points ended up punting.

OU- we kicked off and they punted.*

Pitt- we received opening drive kicked a fg for 3 points.

BC- we kicked off and they punted.*

Wake- we received and scored on C.Wood 68 yard run.

I have completely convinced myself that we are going to lose. I am too nervous for tomorrow. Just a little under 18 hours left until kickoff!

This should keep you guys entertained for the next 17 hours

sanchez.gif

Don't forget, McFumbles, errrrrrr, McKnight fumbled the ensuing kickoff right into the hands of a Patriot who promptly took it in for another Trojan gift. Cue that gif as well!

My problem is what do I do when I wake up and have to wait 6 hours until gametime???

Move to Asia. Wake up, make a cup of coffee, and sit down to watch the game.

I would rather have your problem.
