lets hope for a downpour and stanford can grind them down. I do think the Trees are way too aggressive in their blitzing though and the Ducks will make them pay but we shall see what happens i guess.

If Stanford can run Taylor and dominate the clock and keep Oregon's offense on the sideline it will turn into a good game.

I have little doubt that Stanford will be able to run on Oregon. The question is whether or not the Cardinal's front-seven can stop the Ducks' ground game. They struggle against spread offenses.

This is going to be a fun matchup indeed. Stanford's defense usually show up for big games. You look at their season, and they have been showing up big time against top opponents. Us, SC, Oregon State...

I would assume this is where college gameday is this weekend?

I sure hope they play like they did against us. Pressure and more pressure, though with the type of offense Oregon obviously runs, pressure may not be the best idea but maybe containing and being in the right spot at the right time for a nice pick 6. Oregon just seems to have to tough of a remaining schedule to go undefeated, IMO.

sure tackling and keep everything in front of you, then hunker down in the red zone.. if the Trees cant tackle, this game is over before it started

Wanted to bump this as he was on an official visit to Oregon this weekend. I haven't been able to find anything but I am extremely interested to hear how it went.

UO's own AD has confirmed that Kelly bolting for the NFL is inevitable. Everything that team has accomplished is built upon Kelly's offensive genius. Unless they're truly ignorant of those facts, how could any recruit choose UO over ND right now?

I'd love for Oregon to fall off the map. I've run into Oregon fans on the Internet and they are insanely arrogant.

I don't see the appeal for Kelly to the NFL. He'll flame out in a year, a la Petrino, Spurrier.

Guys just don't get when they got it good.

Chip kelly much like their fans is very arrogant and he probably thinks that he'll be the first coach to win in the NFL with that kind of offense.

Chip makes $2.8m base and has the potential for another $1m on top of that with incentives. I don't think he's worried about money. Morris made $2m with the Bucs last year.

You can't fault Chip Kelly for wanting to compete at the highest level of football. After all, it's his career and his passion. I doubt he'd be where he is today without that drive and I think its in his nature.

However, that does leave the Ducks susceptible to everyone's favorite activity... poaching! I'm aware that our class is quickly filling up and perhaps we don't have room for any ex-ducks, however, I thought it would be fun to take a look at their list of current commits anyways.

I know Tyrell and Tyree Robinson had some interest in ND at one time. A solid OLB and WR/Safety.

Mora will keep UCLA heading in the right direction. I think this is just the first step in a yearly beat down for USC (at least for the next 4 years).

I have zero read on Folston. The post Oregon update is exactly the same as the ND one and they both came from his coach.

This is the kid in this class that I have paid no attention to. If he comes aboard (which I don't think we need him), or if he doesn't, I have no idea.

I also think UO needs to sizzle back into irrelevance.

Those guys failed in the NFL. So did Nick Saban. But they all cashed NFL paychecks and none of them had a problem finding good gigs in the college game after they flamed out. And Kelly turned down the TB job, and now Schiano seems to be succeeding there. Seems like a no-lose situation for these guys. What's the downside?

Mora will bounce back to the Pro's as soon as a decent HC job becomes available.
