He is elite. This staff is kicking it!
I should have worded better, I didn't mean to take anything away from the young man. His ability to be top ten on both the offensive and defensive lines makes him elite in his own right.
My point, which I did a bad job of getting across, was that the staff can focus on other elite prospects that lack as much versatility as Jay has. That way, if they land a guy that is strictly a NG, Jay can play DE (or possibly OL if the coaches feel more depth is needed). On the flip side, if they miss on a stud that is strictly a NG, Jay can bulk up and fill the need.
