Nope. I am assuming they don't want to risk Everett with the concussion, or that they felt he didn't have adequate practice time this week and are playing it safe. BK seems extremely adamant that when healthy, Everett is his man.

meh. probably the prudent move. everett seems to need more time to get comfortable with the game plan and being out early this week seems like it hurt him. i don't doubt the we see him today. either way, do work tommy

My guess is health concern. Coach said the last two game weeks Everett had missed Tuesday as well. Unless they gave him very limited reps this week I'm guessing it's to make sure he is 100% heading into Norman.
Coach also mentioned we have to be able to run the ball with the qb so should we be expecting some Hendrix?

Tommy will eat up BYU. They probably cant do a damn thing to move the ball against us either. We will be fine with either Rees or Golson, imo.

I still think we win today. But I think Rees is going to get hit ALOT. Byu is going to blitz the Hell out of him. So I would be surprised to see a quite a few short passes.

His big target is eiffert. He will use him quite a bit today. I imagine at least 4 or 5 passes to him. They will try and cover him but with him breaking away from a block will force then into a weak zone and either force a coverage on him or open for others.
ESPN is saying EG is likely to play. Give Reese more than a single possession to prove himself and Everett can probably take the day off.

Nonsense. When has this been the case during the times he has played this year? Purdue didn't rough him up, scUM didn't hit him a lot, Miami didn't hit him once (only one play) and Stanford didn't either. So why suddenly should we expect a mediocre BYU team would be one to beat up Tommy?
Tommy is better than a lot of you give him credit for. I fully expect Tommy to rip up BYU.

^ This, Kelly has already stated that Golson is the starter going forward, but health concerns may prevent him from starting against BYU. No controversy unless Rees plays most of the game and does very well... Which even then, doesnt mean much to me, because BYU's defense is HIGHLY overrated in my opinion.
