Got a question for the group. We all know peppers left bosco and their seems to be some bad blood there. My question is if we do in fact get A.M., does it reduce our chances of getting peppers in 14?

DomerLover3 might be able to answer this question.

There would have to be a serious personal vendetta between Peppers and Muhammad/ Shumate for their presence to shut us out. Since we've never heard of such, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no.

It wont reduce our chances it may actually help him. Getting Peppers will be a full on battle. We are in the group but from what Domerlover has told me we aren't in the lead group.

You nailed it whiskey there would have to be a big personal issue. I mean, from what I've heard the issue was more with his classmates and Peppers was friends with the older guys, so I think Muhammad would help. Plus Muhammad is pretty well liked by everyone, but I'll find out if there is an issue.

And even if the two don't necessarily like each other/aren't friends it would be pretty dumb to not pick a college because someone you dont like goes there.

Peppers though may be one of the most intense recruiting battles in a long time. Basically likes all of our recruiting rivals

I see Alquadin having a Manti Teo or Aaron Lynch type of ceiling. And having a Big Time impact on our defense at some point during his time here. We haven't seen an athlete like him at the Cat position yet. A high level Cat takes this defense to the next level and we have few peers now.
No disrespect to Prince Shembo I love what he brings with his physicality and motor. But Alquadin adds speed to that package.

I've definetly been waiting on Ishaq to give me something to see. The Blue and Gold game gave him a lot of hype coming into the season. He looked good against Navy but has ghosted since.
Ishaq where are you at?

Ghosted?

Apparently you've missed the Michigan game and Michigan ST game....

Not to mention he's rotating time as a sophomore

rotating but not producing

He has seemed like a ghost, still too inconsistent to be an impact player for this defence.

Maybe he'll pick it up, perhaps starting today against BYU.

This is what kids like Tuitt do to some fans. They get unrealistic expectations of kids. Ishaq is a sophomore for crying out loud. How was KLM as a sophomore? Is he a ghost this year?

Expecting every good prospect to be a monster by their sophomore year is unrealistic. Ishaq is fine and I have extreme confidence that he will be an impact player at Notre Dame before its all over.

We are all rooting for him Whooly. Your point is taken that not everyone can come in producing. Hopefully the staff can pull out his immense potential. With that being said I think Alqua-D is one that comes in early and produces.
