I expected the win.

Solid game guys in crappy weather. It was supposed to be a battle and it was.

I hope Golson's headache is a minor one. He played better in this weather than quite a few of the posts in this thread. Yes, he made mistakes, as did Tommy as a 19 year old sophomore, and as did Clausen, and Quinn before them.

He's a work in progress.

In NO WAY was that a generous call. His forward progress was stopped for two seconds straight. The refs have to call it at that point. The fact that Mayock kept talking about the ball breaking the plane, WHILE THE REF IS BLOWING IT DEAD AND THE D IS CELEBRATING was absurd.
