Copied from what I posted in the 2013 Master List:
A name to possibly keep an eye on is Delano Hill out of Cass Tech who is currently committed to Iowa. The staff watched his tape after he visited for the Michigan game and came away impressed and Hill is now very interested in ND. He ran an electronic 4.4 at The Opening and UF and FSU have been in contact recently. Obviously we have other corners higher on the list right now but if those options fall through he may get an offer. If he does, Wiltfong thinks it could get very interesting. May be visiting with Jayru Campbell this weekend.

It would be nice to finally land a player from Cass Tech too. I thought they were all instant locks for scUM.

Is his middle name a family thing or does it come from Franklin Delano Roosevelt or Franklin Delano Bluth?

Funny people talk about a fallback. Nothing personal but we have no idea that these 2 or 3 other DBs will pan out better than this guy, player develpopment. Nobody was way high on Kevarie last year, now hes a baller for a Frosh, same with Shumate, will be a badass by next year, you can just tell already, not by high school stars.

Guy's got speed, good size for a corner, comes from a great program and from the video looks like he decleats guys on a regular basis in the Detroit Public league. Go after him. But why not more/better offers?

Not trying to be "that guy", but what is his academic situation?

Not sure about his personal academics but Cass Tech is a good high school (not just in Detroit standards). FWIW, Syracuse offered him per 247 too.

Remembering hearing his name a lot during The Opening and wondering why he was committed to Iowa and not Michigan.

That is curious to me too...perhaps it's a numbers game w/UM? I'm counting 3 CB's committed currently, one of those is Jourdan Lewis, CB @ Cass Tech.

how many more DB's is ND taking in this class?

definitely one, but would easily take two if it is an elite DB. I could see us taking two if the two names are from:

Moore, Willis, Luke, Alexander, McQuay III, Redfield, Hawkins (U$C commit)

Interesting Delano may be in the mix... not a bad fallback at all.

If you are taking one you wait if you are taking 2 then I would put on a full court press on this kid. He should have some better offers than he does. I feel like those USC kids are just looking for a free trip cant see McQuay going to ND either (you could wait it out and he could fall into your hands).
