As much as i hate IU, i went down there a few times and they know how to throw some parties. Im suprised they arent on the list

How is West Virginia not on that list. Morgantown literally has no laws there it is one crazy place

List is a joke. I've been to UVA many times. I've also been to Wisconsin, USC, Penn State... in what universe is UVA #1? UVA doesn't even come close to any of those schools. It isn't even close to VT or JMU in the state of Virginia. USC is also overrated in a similar vein, but I haven't been there enough/been to other Cali schools to go definitive on an opinion.
At UVA, the Greek life is the focal point of the school like none other I've been to. It also, expectedly, runs the "party" scene. And there are hot girls. Parties are fun. Is it a party school? HELL NO. UVA is in fact the second most docile place I've been... second to only William & Mary.
Penn State and Wisconsin both get 10x as crazy and have 10x the participation. And I've never been to Morgantown, but I've WVU is crazy. UVA is just a bunch of bros being bros.

Had a buddy that went to Texas Tech....crazy out there as well.
But I have heard from my other friend, that Ole Miss is awesome. Said there is nothing like hitting the Grove and seeing those young southern girls in sun dresses...sans undergarments.

How they get their info is beyond me? Most subscribers to playboy from those towns between ages 18-23?
A couple weeks ago there was a poll came out that couples in Indy have the best sex life or something.
The poll was based off condom sales and sex toy purchases. Hard to say where the data comes from.

I'm currently a Junior here at West Virginia University. Love this place, great house party scene 18-over bars(turn 21 in December) and the regular bar scene is great. These lists are dumb mostly every big state university that I have been to has a great party scene, it just comes down to college kids wanting to have a good time.
I just don't understand what the point of these lists are. How can you possibly compare one schools party scene to another(Note: not surveys)
Also, as been talked about earlier in the thread. Morgantown doesn't have many laws as stated, but the police have been cracking down on couch burnings, 21-unders drinking in bars, and other things. I live with a guy that graduated about two years ago and he says it has changed a lot in the past five years within the crazy scale. I think we can thank social media for that. F you Zuckerberg
