Roberson and Hardy are out for the season. Golic of most of it. Nichols was may be back but if the field is wet and sloppy I wouldn't expect a guy recovering from kneecap problem to see the field.

08/21 2:19pm Tate Nichols OL Out Knee Nichols dislocated his knee cap and is expected to miss at least four weeks of action. The RS freshman was running with the second team prior to injury. True freshman Nick Martin moved up to second string in Nichols' place.
08/21 2:14pm Eliar Hardy S Out For Year Knee Incoming freshman Eliar Hardy tore his left LCL during practice last week and will miss the 2011 season. He was expected to be a reserve this fall.
08/21 2:11pm Jake Golic TE Out Arm Golic suffered a broken arm and is expected to miss at least six weeks. The sophomore and son of former Irish player Mike Golic (also of ESPN fame) is projected to be a reserve this year.
08/10 10:52pm Cameron Roberson RB Out For Year Knee Roberson suffered a major knee injury at the end of March and will miss the 2011 season. The RS freshman was to add depth at RB this fall. The Irish may have to rely on incoming freshman Cam McDaniel if something happens to starting sophomore Cierre Wood.

Ricky Barnum OL Questionable Undisclosed Barnum missed the season opener with an unspecified injury and is questionable to play in week two. It was originally reported that the junior had been suspended for a "team issue," but GoBlueWolverine Radio said Barnum was indeed injured. Sophomore Michael Schofield started at left guard in Barnums' place vs. W. Mich.

Stephen Hopkins RB Probable Suspension Served Hopkins missed the season opener serving a one game suspension due to a "team issue," but the sophomore backup is expected to be available for week two.

Marell Evans LB Probable Suspension Served Evans missed the season opener serving a one-game suspension due to a "team issue," but the senior reserve is expected to be available for week two.

Cam Gordon LB Probable Back Gordon is dealing with a back injury but is probable to play Saturday vs. Notre Dame. The sophomore was second on the team with eight tackles in the season opener. Last year as a freshman, Gordon ranked fourth on the team with 77 tackles.

Troy Woolfolk CB Probable Ankle Woolfolk left the season opener with an ankle injury but has been upgraded to probable for Notre Dame. The senior sat out all of last year with an injury but solidified a starting job this summer. He recorded two tackles vs. Western Michigan.
08/25 3:38pm Chris Barnett TE Out For Year Left Team Incoming freshman Chris Barnett has left the program and will not play football this fall for the Wolverines. He was projected as a future starter because No. 1 TE Kevin Koger is a senior.

08/23 7:32pm Je'Ron Stokes WR Out For Year Left Team Stokes has left the program likely due to a desire of more playing time. The junior played mostly on special teams the past two years and was not projected to big part of the offensive plan this fall.
08/11 1:47am Darryl Stonum WR Out For Year Disciplinary Stonum was suspended indefinitely this spring for operating a vehicle while visibly impaired, his second offense. Coach Hoke recently said Stonum will redshirt the 2011 season. He is the team's second-leading receiver returning from last year's squad. Stonum caught 49 passes for 633 yards and four TD's a season ago.
08/11 1:45am Terrence Robinson WR Out Suspended Robinson has been suspended for the season opener due to a violation of team rules. The junior played in 11 games the past two years, making one start, and is expected to backup starter Roy Roundtree this fall.
08/11 1:41am Will Hagerup P Out Suspended Hagerup has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating team rules. The sophomore was the team's starting punter last year and averaged 43.5 ypp. Look for fellow sophomore Seth Broekhuizen to fill in until Hagerup returns.
