Seriously guys, the kid is in high school. Don't tell me you didn't do stupid, hot tempered **** when you were young. He lives in an area where you have to be tough or you get eaten alive. If he has serious interest in Notre Dame, ND should have serious interest in him and his abilities. Some of the most influential people of our time have come from underprivileged areas and grew into what they are today once they relocated themselves. Trust me, we should all still want/ ND needs this kid on it's team.

I would take this kid any day after reading this article. Kid talks the talk than walks the walk. Not sure why you wouldn't want him just because he does thing differently doesn't mean he won't be a ND kid or a RKG(pains me to use that). Would bring a edge to this football team and some confidence. You want to compete with the best you better start recruiting and getting the best. Especially out in Florida.

He talks some serious smack too. Said the kids from Naples were a bunch of babies and threw one kid to the ground and told him to go sit on the bench and bring out someone else that can play. Also played against a '14 Gator commit and said he is gonna call Muschamp and tell him he needs some new '14 recruits.

I love this. This is the kind of corner that wins championships.

I guess some of you would have turned away Neon Dion. I find this funny, how much smoke do coaches blow up his rear in recruiting and he blows some back. Reps Mac.

I'm not saying I wouldn't still want players that get into a little trouble. All I'm saying is, colleges and coaches, especially at Notre Dame don't take to any sort of negative publicity lightly. Believe me I want this kid like I'm sure all of us do, but it's the coaches that makes these decisions, and there the ones that nit pick at things like this.

If any of you think that the kids currently on the team have never talked trash or demolished the opposition before, you are crazy.

ya, because high school football players never talk trash

Sh!t, the 3rd string Olineman talk trash on a daily basis in high school. The guys who have talent talk **** a lot and the area that Alexander is from is not doing him any favors either.

This is just awesome. Hope he comes and stays, but I am not holding my breath.

Hey guys, I have been following this site for about a year and decided to join. I enjoy most perspectives especially because some seem close to insiders. If there is one thread I can't get enough of, it's this one. I must check in 4-5 days hoping to see commit next to Alexander. Though a combination of Moore and Luke would be ALMOST as nice if we don't get Alexander.

So where do we currently rank with this kid? Are we the favorite or in his top five?

No one really knows, including Mackenzie, I think, but it sounds like we are at or near the top of his list along with Clemson.

But there's a long way to go and I wouldn't get too excited yet.

Good news he says he likes ND a lot

Bad News he says he'll probably stay in the south to play

yea, idk if that's breaking news, but sounds like brian poole 2.0 in sense that if ND was in Florida he'd already be committed

His latest update will give you a headache. Nothings changed he really likes Clemson and toying with media. Whoever this kid likes on signing day will be the team IMO.

I purposely pumped the brakes on recruiting interest following the past few years and the recent success on the field has made that a whole hell of a lot easier.

I'd love to see a kid like Alexander come to ND but I'm too occupied with Michigan to care ha.. I couldn't say that when we were fumbling the ball through our legs and looking to the high school kids as the saviors. Not that we are "back" but our recent saviors are making ND football pretty damn fun to watch.

Here is what I don't understand about these kids...

Don't they connect the dots that if they commit to a school it helps their school get better players, which helps them as prospects down the road?

I've said it before, but I really think we get him. He says ND is his favorite and leader, took a 5 day visit to ND on his own dime, and has the opportunity to start immediately on a BCS caliber team. Not to mention he will be part of one of the best freshman classes in recent memory and with the way this team is playing right now I just don't see the typical collapse of recent ND seasons happening this year. So to me it all adds up to a commit in the end, but like everyone is saying it will probably be a signing day decision. I also think it will be with the team with the best record or highest ranking at the end of the season.

I think he really really likes ND. I just think he wants to stay in the state or go to Clemson because he loves Dabo and Sammy

Still gotta a ways to go before the ink is on paper, if we keep winning you just never know! Let's see what we end up with if we have 10-11-12 wins! You end 11-2 you just might see an Alexander on the ND class list!

Still just as likely ND goes 8-4 or 9-3. We're not out of the woods, just starting to enter it.

he wasnt predicting a record, he simply said if we get to double digit wins we get the top recruits... Its also possible we go 3-9 or 12-0.
