the jury is still out on whether both of these teams are alright or both of these teams suck. Both made quite a few mistakes and but also had strengths against each other. However, how they do these next 4-5 weeks should tell us what this game is really about...

Northwestern and Syracuse put up a lot of points, I dont think anyone here is worried about those teams if we played them.

The jury is still out on us too. We overpowered and manhandle a navy team that is weaker than what they have fielded in a couple yrs. I'm not saying Miami and Butter great but they did play better than I thought and have points in their games that COULD give us problems. Miami's oline played better than I thought and Morris looked sharper than I thought he would coming off back surgery. BC, well after last yr they actually moved the ball. Both teams defenses had problems but so does ours.

i was at the BC/Miami game and i wasnt really impressed with miami. outside of their rb..it wasnt nothing special..and the fact that BC on the first drive drove down the field for that TD honestly shocked me. mind you this is just my opinion, but im not worried about the miami game..as for BC..well they cant really do much worse than they did last year. lol

In my opinion, they can do a heck of alot worse. We won what 16-14? or something last year

So, yeah. It looks like Miami and BC were really that bad. Miami is being curb stomped by Kansas State right now.

(I put Kansas State because last week, when everyone was talking about them and putting K State, I thought somehow Kent State had a top 25 football team. I was super confused)

Al Golden looks like he's gonna pass out.. There is absolutely no way to spin this positively to his team or recruits.. what an absolute thrashing.

what's great is that they are owning them because they are a well coached defensive team who is also good at power running. Sound like anyone?

LB Buchanan Out For The Season.

LB Buchanan Out For The Season.

Per AP

Miami coach Al Golden says linebacker Ramon Buchanan will miss the rest of the season with a right knee injury and safety Vaughn Telemaque is out for this week's game against Bethune-Cookman with a left knee injury.

They were hurt in Saturday's 52-13 loss to Kansas State, as was wide receiver Allen Hurns, whose immediate future is unclear because of a head injury. He also dealt with one during training camp, and was checked for a concussion on Saturday.

Buchanan and Telemaque continued to play after getting hurt. Golden said he was unaware of the extent of both injuries until Sunday. Buchanan is a fifth-year senior whose 2011 season was also cut short by a knee injury.

Miami (1-1) has allowed 1,035 yards and 84 points in its two games.

Dan Sileo. DL from 84-87.

Fun fact: Wiki claims that he rode with the Hell's Angels in the Summer between playing at Maryland and transferring to Miami. No wonder the '86 team was the most hated.

When he paused for a few seconds in there, I really thought he fell out. Heart attack or stroke.

Ok I am visiting family in S. FL and decided to go catch the Canes vs Bethune Cookman game (in laws live about 7 miles from the stadium). So I went to game with my brother in law who is a season ticket holder ($150 for season tickets) and I picked up a ticket at the gate for....wait for it... for $10!! Ok so anyways, so watching the game I ABSOLUTLY CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY MIAMI!!! Miami struggled early to move the ball on Bethune Cookman. Miami has one player on their team that is any decent, Duke Johnson and his oline is an absolute joke. The Miami oline struggled to consistantly get a push or proper protection! Stephen Morris is very inconsistant and with the pressure our line will bring, Morris will screw up OFTEN! Now for Miami's defense....well it should have a field day running all over their weak Dline and weak LBs (Perryman being the only decent one) It should be an awesome day Oct 6th in the Windy City, where we will hopefully bring our A game and kick the crap out of them!!!
