Kind of wish he came away with a Texas offer, but didn't commit.

I'm looking at it like Bosch....we didn't offer when he first visited and he got pissed and look..committed to Michigan.

...Texas didn't offer when he visited.....

It wouldn't hurt our chances.

Texas may not have offered because Hunter was unwilling to commit on the spot. Brown has a history of doing that. I know they have loosened up this year, and always offered the elite kids regardless, but Hunter is not quite in that category.

He may not be a consensus top 5 WR, but he was the MVP of the Opening. You don't earn that honor without being an excellent WR.

Agreed. That's why I said "not quite." I think Hunter is the kind of kid that you love to sign and helps you win games. I don't think he is the kind of kid that people are expecting to take over games, like Michael Floyd or Julio Jones.

Looking at those data points the outlier is ESPN not Scout.

I cannot understand anything more significant than stars. (When it comes to ratings services).

But that is a good place to start. How come there is such a difference of 37 points on a players rating, or over two hundred points on his overall rating with his peers?

And for the commits that we go after and get, the STARS definitly don't mean anything, especially ESPN and Rivals. Who tend to automatically assume if the player committed to ND, then they need to drop the player about 30 spots.

This is getting old.

Texas stopped recruiting Ricky Seals-Jones today. Their 247 site said to look for them to go after Torii and Devon Allen.
