Mike and Mike just spoke about it.
Just heard on Mike and Mike that FB will play 5 games per year VS ACC opponents, but will remain independent. I think I'm OK with this. We play 3 this year. I'd be OK with losing Pitt, but not sure I like potentially giving up traditional B10 or P12 teams.

RT @KeithArnoldNBC: Nice work @NDatRivals on the ACC scoop. You know you've hit the big time when ESPN is calling you "sources."
If this is truly all sports other than football, I don't mind. However, if football would eventually follow, I would prefer the Big 12.
I curious on what this means for scheduling some ACC games each year. I wouldn't mind seeing ND play BC / Pitt / VT / NCSU in a given year. Would love to see them rotate around and play one of VT / Clemson / FSU each year.
Yup, you drop Pitt and likely 1 Big Ten team and add two of FSU, Duke, UVA, Georgia Tech, Maryland, etc.
It's a great long term move.

We already play 4 ACC teams (one future acc in pitt) this yr, so it really wont be much of a change. I would love to go to a game in Blackburg!
It is being reported that we will play 5 ACC football games annually. Makes you wonder who we will drop in football?
I just read that each acc school is guaranteed one game vs us every three years.

Love it. I'd love to do Miami / FSU rotating, BC / Duke rotating, VT / Virginia Rotating, NC / NC St rotating, Wake / Maryland rotating, Clemson / GT rotating.
Then
1 Armed Services
2 Big Ten
2 P12
1 Big12
1 SEC
I hate to drop Purwho, but I'd leave UM and MSt. Maybe Keep UM and rotate other Big10 into the second spot. I do the same with the Pac12. Keep USC, rotate others into the second spot.
As part of the partnership with the ACC, Notre Dame has agreed to annually play five ACC opponents in football and each conference member at least once every three years.
Isn't Pitt moving to the ACC as well?
