Is week two going to have many shakeout games for those teams ranked ahead of us?

I have a feeling AF's option might be a lot for UM's Dline to handle especially after dealing with the beat down from Bama. Playing controlled disciplined football after getting embarrassed is never easy especially if the other team starts to frustrate you

Week 2 games: Miami(FL) v #21 KState (it could happen but a stretch), Grambling v #20 TCU (probably won't happen but may jump them anyway with a convincing win), #16 Nebraska v UCLA (Don't know much about either team), #7 Georgia v Mizzou (If Mizzou won theres a chance they would jump us), #17 Texas v New Mexico (Same as TCU), #18 OKState v Arizona (Don't see it happening but who knows)

I don't care if Miami wins another game. I hope we hang 70 on them.

I hate Miami but I think they win, they will have a better record this year now that their QB isn't turnover the ball like us.They have talent and speed.

yes i am talking about k st

Yeah I agree w/ you on both points.

Miami over k-state would be a shocker, but that's why you play the games

On the secondary, I'm a little uneasy but I want to see them against Purdue and Mich St before I go too worried. I agree with a lot of the posters that stated we were playing against an option team and the secondary has the responsibility to help w/ run support.

We'll get a better sense as to how the secondary will hold up against the more ordinary(main stream) offenses.

Yessir... Playing gimmick offenses reeks havoc on a d-backfield. We'll get a better gauge this weekend against a more pass happy opponent.

The schedule is hard enough. F*** Michigan.

Yup agree 100%, F'm long and F'm hard

Back to the rankings-I like the #22 spot but it's still early so I'm kinda ho hum about it. Now if we can get through Sept w/o a loss....then you will have my FULL attention.

In principle, yes. For our SOS, no.

It would be awesome to see Mich beat them by a FG, maybe. I dunno.

Michigan is a recruiting rival. We want to see them lose every game as ignominiously as possible. Recruiting > SoS

For non-recruiting rivals, we want them all to go 11-1.

You make a sound argument. One that I will have to agree with.

**** em. 0-12
