Exactly... Just keep feeding whoever has the "Hot Hand" that night... Drop off minimum... running styles vary... Opposing coaches getting migraines overwhelming...

If you were a D Coordinator....and you had to worry about three highly skilled RBs, a QB that can beat you with his feet...and throw the long ball to a AA TE....?!?! What we need is some WRs to step up (TJ? DD? Toma?) and make some plays and we have a potent offence.

(sorry too much caffeine today) ;)

IF, and I mean IF, we score as many points as this team is capable of, there will be plenty of PT to go around for everyone. There should be some serious blowouts with the amount of talent that this team has, we'll just have to wait and see if it comes to fruition.

I hate looking into tweets. But, he's probably just talking about his injury and his comeback he'll make from it.

Man, I am glad I didn't read this thread through August, until today. Wow, some of you need to take care of an msb. Or drink some cranberry juice or something.

I wonder what differences Amir has noticed between playing for BK and Kiffin. I wonder if he thinks there is a significant talent disparity between the teams.

Now that's an interesting question! To which we'll never hear an answer.

Kelly hinted that Amir would be back next week. It sounds like he is very close but they don't want to play him until he is 100%.

Standing applause on the good health indication. Still wish he'd get happy with redshirting until Cierre and Theo have gone on into the NFL. But, it's his life and Coach BKs team... not my business.

My thoughts too on redshirting, but then I think about playing the meat of our schedule when players get banged up. Theo always seems to miss a couple of games and you can never have to much speed on the field.

I hope he stays healthy, he's had a tough start at the college level.

This, plus keep in mind he will probably see a lot of time in the Slot position, rotating with Toma and Neal there. That is a nice threesome there to go with the beasts in the backfield. My only questions are the outside WRs, and if Davaris can show up, I'm feeling real good about our offense.

I think there has been a lot of coaches and insiders hinting that there will be rapid and great development through the season on the outside.

Hear stuff like that a lot though. I will believe it when I see it on the field. The talent is there though, no question.

Agreed. To his credit, Theo ran incredibly hard on Saturday. But, there is no way that he is going to be able to do that all year (particularly against bigger and faster defensive players).

I agree, but I still wish Carlisle would redshirt. Theo, George, and Cam all looked good Saturday. And with Cierre back after this week, I think we have 4 capable backs who deserve touches. Yes, I know Amir is supposed to be just as good but redshirting would be very beneficial. Especially with Theo/Cierre? gone after this season

Personally, I think Kelly needs to go all-in this year. I would not hold back a thing.

I also think that once we start recruiting more consistently, we will only really need to reserve red-shirts for linemen, QBs, and the occassional late-bloomer.

+1

BK won't redshirt Amir. Amir will play and will get enough touches to make a difference.

It's a reciprocal thing.

Great selling point to recruits(early PT)

Get young guys game experience early and often.

I love it.

Totally agree; Kelly even said that it will be an all hands on deck year if they want to win, not just featuring or relying on a few marquee names.
