You know what I have to say to Ty Duffy? Fukk you! I am from Toledo, I don't like it at all, and all the Rockets have is a 35 game Division I winning streak, which is still good for number 2, which all and all, ain't bad for a team from "Toledo!"

These people that post this nonsense, A) Have the most ridiculous names I have ever seen. Pick Cliff Claven and see how much respect you get from me. B) All have the same tired martyr line to whine, "I am the true fan, see how I am abused by these unbelievers in charge!"

They all need their prostates scraped.

And the comments on this thread aren't much better; get a life; and get a fukkin' sense of 'umor!

Turn the damned thing on it's side and it looks like the half glass of beer I have in my hand right now.

And to those that say it is just for the players and recruits, I am sorry, but you are wrong. If it was why would they be having a press conference? Why would there be all the "swatches" and secrecy? Why would they be selling it all at Dicks and Kohls?

I love them, they are the best alternate jerseys I have seen Addidas make (many Nike alternates that are better).

I showed them to a bunch of my teammates in the locker room after practice and even ones that dislike ND loved them too.

Nebraska's 9 point, sans serif "N" is the dumbest thing I have ever seen on a helmet, including a "wing". They deserve that sh!t...

Hmmmm..... well, this 72 year old thinks that what he can see of the uniforms/helmets is just fine for a "specialty" game. Anything "dark" up top makes you look dangerous. The so-called "off-center" helmet design is actually quite close to the "Golden Section" ratio used by aesthetic artists from Da Vinci on [as I'm sure that most of the Board realized early on].

The huge left leg stripe is hidden in the pictures we have, so I can't get the aesthetics of that. It appears however to give the darker impression to the opponent when viewed flat left, and the lighter when viewed flat right. This could mildly confuse the opposing quarterbacks as his opponents alternately flashed lighter and darker uniforms at him during his reads. And anything which might for a second distract the opponent is money.

The bottom line is: any uniform containing Tyler Eifert or Manti Te'o is the uniform of an elite monster.

The more I look at the helmets the more I dislike them. Seems like it just keeps getting worse.

being the open-minded guy that I am (but still very old skool when it comes to ND; after all, Tradition is a big part of ND) I could live with everything but the helmet.

I'm one of the ppl that really like the lep, but I dont like that helmet, not even a little bit. However, I will say that as much as I dont like the helmets, they are far and above better than that montrosity that Maryland wore against ND last year or the year before.

This didn't even cross my mind and I believe it's the first mention of any such theory. I like it.

dumb Q I am sure, but what game are these for??? Not navy with those Irish cleats correct??? So when do you know what will be worn then???
