The storm clouds are a brewin' . . .

Electrostatic discharge
Drob's luck is outa there . . .

Three years of beating the Irish,
Has cost DRob his first born.
But three years of beating the Irish,
Has created the perfect storm.

A quiet assassin, in search of his pray.
The reaping, and not the sowing,
For all those to witness that day.
September 22nd is well on its way.

And I will be there to wittness it,
A stadium full of Irish fans that do not relent
Cannot turn away or cover their eyes
At the impact of the horrific accident . . .

When his head goes a'rolling,
Not a man will flinch.
And Manti Teo will grab DRob by his face mask,
In the Hawaiin death clinch.

Every manchild in the stadium,
lets out a low roar.
except the drob replacement,
who makes for the door . .

The Walmarts go silent, in mystery and awe,
Clean-up on aisle 13, hell them all.
A welfare queen from the back yells,
"Is that DRob's jaw!?"

Top 10 list: The most valuable non-quarterbacks in college football - CBSSports.com

The top 10 most valuable non-QBs in CFB:

1. Manti Te'o, Notre Dame, MLB: The big Hawaiian has been everything he was touted to be in the recruiting process. He has had a big impact on the Notre Dame defense going all the way back to his freshman season, standing out for a program that has long lacked difference-makers on D. There are other defenders who may be higher on NFL scouts' lists, but no one who is more vital to his team's hopes in 2012. Last season, Te'o piled up 128 tackles and five sacks, but keep in mind, he is also the only one of the Irish's top five tacklers who returns this season. The Irish do have some promising young players emerging in their front seven, but those guys are all pretty green. That makes Te'o's experience and leadership that much more significant. The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder also will be a key to coping with a bunch of the run-heavy teams on the Irish's stacked schedule this fall.

Appreciate him while he is here guys. He is a once in a generation student / athlete / person. Extremely luck to have him.

Senior night is my favorite game of the year and always try to get up there for it. I can only imagine how loud the cheers will be for Manti.

I definently will enjoy watching Manti this upcoming season. Manti Te'o is such an awesome player and person! I will miss him when he is gone but will root for him on Sundays in the future. It has been a pleasure watching him in blue and gold! Hope we have a special year and send Manti out with a big bang.

Mods and Posters please read: I have an idea for this thread. I noticed that it says next to Manti Te'o----- "SIGNED LOI"

Is it too early to just simply put

MANTI TE'O (LEGEND)

Thank you for your time

Mike....

Super bored today at work and was playing around with the picture editing on my droid. Pretty crazy everything you can do with a phone these days.

Here is the original pic:

Did anyone else notice how lean Manti looked in the last practice video? Looks like he's lost 10lbs or so. It seems to affirm his statements about being in the best shape of his life right now.

he broke up multiple passes as well, which is widely criticized as his only "minor" weakness.

Him and Anzalone struck up a good relationship according to the SBT article about Tony Alford.

I really pray this year brings a BCS bowl win for Te'o.

Made ESPN's All-America team.

ESPN.com's 2012 All-America Team - ESPN

Manti Te'o should probably be playing games right now for an NFL team in the preseason. A likely first-round selection had he chosen to skip his senior season, Te'o surprised many by returning to Notre Dame. The linebacker has posted consecutive seasons of 125-plus tackles, and he will look to build on those numbers as the unquestioned leader of a defense that has an inexperienced secondary and possible depth concerns up front. His leadership should come in handy through a tough slate that features trips to East Lansing, Norman and L.A.
