Also this site uses twitter feeds from obviously radical, senseless people, who do not think before they couragiously tweet. But it isnt the type of material that should lead to actualy media reports, especially when the author acts as if every liberal proudly supports those insane comments.

My issue is that these type of sites cherrypick the craziest sh!t you can find out of all the crazy sh!t on the internet and use it to flame their audience, who tend to be the angriest and most bitter people out there. It is damaging to the prospect of restoring any measure of civility to the political discourse in this country. Literally every type of incident is manipulated to fit into this dichotomy of "us versus them." It is the single worst force in our culture, and it is getting progressively worse. It just aggravates the hell out of me. I'm not trying to derail the thread to talk about this, its just hard for me to see it and ignore it.

I wasn't paying close enough attention when they actually called it... was it a legit 6 seconds plus? If it was, I have no issue with the call because the Canadians were clearly going into stall ball mode in that last 10 minutes and that call is designed specifically for that situation.

It was clearly six seconds. The goalie was interviewed afterwards and said she had only previously been given a warning from the sideline official. I also dont have a problem with the call. However, usually a yellow card is given and not a indirect free kick. I can see why Canada is very upset. Just like the ND basketball lane violation by Grant this year. If you're going to call it call it all the time just my opinion anyways
