Agreed, which is why I have mixed emotions about the upcoming Ebenezer announcement (July 24th correct?). Has definitely been pro-ND recently on twitter, but I dont want to lose out on Alquadin or Sheritt because EO committed to us first.

I'd think the staff will hold a spot for Muhammad regardless, but Sherit may very well lose his spot to EO.

I'm not really worried because the odds are we will only get 2 of the 4 in Muhommed, Sherit, Drennon, and Ogundeko. But if we are fortunate enough to pull 3 of them one could play OLB for us. I do see what you are saying though, that you like some better than others as do I but I like all of them enough that I would be happy either way.

Lol. I'm glad this was bumped actually. I've been thinking about this guy. Whenever posters bring him up on 247 (which is often ... there is a lot of buzz about him among ND fans), Sapp tries to temper expectations. His point is that we really have not much reason to believe that he has serious ND interest, and we should wait to see if he visits before we consider landing him a serious possibility.

I just found some film on him. He needs a lot of technique work and really just needs to calm down. The problem might be that he is going 110 mph when he really needs to go 95. But I was wowed at his athleticism. His frame could probably carry 15-20 more lbs and play CAT. I would trade Sherit for him. And give me Armwood last year vs some Jersey team any day of the week.

Fair point. It seems like Bosco kids either can't or for some reason don't focus on recruiting until after the season. I've heard their coach won't let them take in-season visits?

Anyway, I wasn't saying we won't get him. My point was just that we talk about him a lot for a guy with whom we really don't know what our chances are at this point.

i would care less what my coach thought and more what my family/my feelings are...but hey that's just me....that's like saying the guidance counselor won't let you visit college x..makes no sense to me...

I appreciated the bump as well, just felt like if you really did need to know how to subscribe no one helped an ie brother out.

I am sure we aren't only ones saving a scholarship for Alquadin, but we might be only one saving a scholarship with a nearly full top 10 class. Hope he sees that.
