Yeah but everything from FSU boards say that they would not take Mackenro unless it netted them Mackensie.

I guess we shall see. I for one put a lot of stock in what Heuerman said anyways.

What did Heuerman say, I need to feel positive here!

I haven't visited the FSU boards, I could see why FSU would think that. How much of it is true, I guess we will see.

As it pertains to Mackensie and ND, even if he doesn't choose FSU, it would still seem like our chances are fairly low. Still think he stays in the south someplace.

Ugh. If MacKensie isn't gonna leave FL, he oughta go to UF. With Miami's impending sanctions and FSU's pathetic degree value, there aren't many choices for an intelligent CFB recruit who wants to stay south.

Orlando Sentinel Article
FSU lands part of Immokalee's touted 'Double Trouble' twins with pledge from Mackenro Alexander - Orlando Sentinel

Mackenroe said he was not sure if his brother would follow his lead.

"We might be twins and all but it doesn't mean we are always thinking the same thing," Mackenro said. "He might be thinking one thing and I'll be thinking something completely different.

"It would be great to play together, but that’s life and we got to grow up, and split up some way, some how .. then again you never know what the future holds."

Jimbo is stalling he doesn't want this kid but if he doesnt take the commit he kills his chances with his brother. This is why you dont do package deal. Or you say "I wont take one without the other" That is what O'leary did with Shaquill & Shaquem Griffin (one of them is missing a hand)

I feel for the brothers then. It must be hard wanting to play together, but one brother didn't carry his end of the bargin in HS to get them there. Crappy situation. One must think this helps ND then though 'cause there is no way I foresee Mackensie going to a JUCO.

I saw from an FSU board that his commitment might not be true right now. Grades also seem to be an issue for FSU as well.

I'm thinking Mackenzie might have to choose a school on his own and not for his brother.

Wow! I would have thought anything above a 1.1 GPA would get you into Free Shoes U as long as you had some athletic ability!?!

Per II he has visited ND, Bama, UK, and FSU this summer. A decision may come before the season. Alexander calls Alford 3 or 4 times a week which is A LOT.

That is really good to hear, Mackenzie would clearly put a defining stamp on this class, and set this defense up to continue its progress towards greatness.

Thanks for the update...., would love it if we were to somehow get this kid. He has been my favorite CB recruit of this class. He would really help solidify this class and help our CB situation out tremendously.

3 or 4 times? That's nothing. 37 times is A LOT, Philly.

(Reps to come if you can tell me the reference).

That does sound like good news-- he and Muhammad are my 2 biggest wants in this class, Alexander probably even most (for obvious CB reasons).
