I sat back and really thought before I posted. This is a good thing. I cannot wait for the Elite 11 competition. I pray fervently that Malik makes every Lace Curtain, dandy of a recruit that is rated above him, eat dirt. I mean it. I want to see Malik prove everybody wrong! And for the few that are hardworking and justifiably rated, I hope he kicks their @sses too

Thanks for the info guys!

Nobody is going to prove anyone wrong at the Elite 11. It is one camp and while it is significant in terms of evaluating prospects, it proves nothing. Proof comes once the recruit steps on the field in college, representing his school, facing real college opponents.

Even the end of the year games like the Army and Under Armor prove nothing. They are a significant snapshot of the player at that particular point in his development but nothing more.

My example is much more relevant... I win.

You mistake my words. Malik has had people, paid people, say that he couldn't throw. It is not true. Particularly comparted to SM. This weekend should show a really interesting snapshot.

He is a talented QB but in his high school system he is not tested allowed to be as versatile. After this year we will know a lot more how he will fit into ND's system.

What a weird tweet by rivalsmike... he named 8 dudes. Isn't there only 11 kids there?

no there are 25 this year. (normally 24) Only the top 11 get ranked as the elite 11

I am pretty sure there are more than 11. It is the finals where the pick the top 11 I believe

I thought they had already cut it down to 11, I guess not.

Nothing to see here....

Thought the same on his tweet. Always nice to learn something new. I guess, had we thought long and hard about it. (She didn't say it) One could have guessed it when they decided to take MZ after a few more elite 11 qualifiers. Meh..

good, because it didnt seem like it...

Yeah... because my acknowledgement of the mistake was probably too vague of a way to say "I get it".

An entire hour had passed since then... so who knows... I could have been still completely in the dark...

Thank god for you...
