Watched Sherit's film today and I really, really like him. He's got a big, loose frame; as others have said, I could definitely see him either putting on enough weight to play DE, or staying lean enough to play CAT LB. I love that versatility.

With that group, it is clear that he takes his academics seriously. Gotta love that out of a kid. Love to have him. On a related note, if this current class added Sherit, Muhammad and Alexander it would go from great to ridiculous.

No shiit. For a team that has never really been good they are recruiting very well. I'd like to see them translate that to success on the field. It'd be nice to see a school known for academics succeed in the SEC.

Yep. I like the idea of Vandy being good, but I'm worried about creating a monster of a recruiting competitor. Same with Duke ... I always root for them but when I really stop and think about it I don't want them to be good at football.

Won't happen. At least not BCS bowl good like Stanford. The road to Vandy being a 10 win team is simply too difficult. A perennial 7/8 win team? Very possible.

Even though you said ridiculous, that is an understatement... The only class that would be able to beat it would be U$Cs.. If we got those 3 and finished it off with a couple more solid players, I would do a school girl scream. Dont even know if I can get that high, but I will try.

I agree in thinking it is a ND, UF, Tree battle....I have a feeling FSU might be a little late to the party (ala Deeb). My FSU buddy here at work thinks Jordan will just drop trow if FSU offers.

He should commit to us before Ogundeko takes his spot. I know "a bird in the hand ..." and all, but I'd be a little bummed if Ogundeko committed and then we had to back away from prospects I like more, like Sherit and Drennon. [I think (and Sapp thinks) that we'd continue to pursue Alquaddin Muhammad no matter what though.]
