He's been #20 after the last cycle of updates.

Yeah. In my head, I was meaning to say if we could get his profile updated to show it. Yes, I'm a butthead when it comes to things like that. Can't believe you couldn't read inside my head!

Is that his new rating? Or his old. I am writing and boycotting ESPfukinN if he doesn't move up substantially.

Grahambo, you should win hands down the best avatar of the year award. No ****, it effects me.

The previous presentation is dedicated to Grahambo, and all you other Devil Dogs, and a demonstration of the kind of institutional toughness I am beginning to see return to the University of Notre Dame.

To be clear Bog, I removed the baby, not the USMC.

Shane Morris deserves it. Max Browne #3 player in the country? Highly questionable, IMHO.

Yeah Sadly after the opening I think Shane might be the best QB in the country.

Agreed. Unlike Hackenberg and Browne, he didn't throw oodles of interceptions. And he had a MUCH better arm than Browne. Browne to me sticks out as one of those Mitch Mustain like prospects... everyone falls in love with his "decision making" and "touch" and the fact that his mechanics, frame, etc. looks how you want a QB to look. They say things like "he can make every throw" when in reality they don't have elite arm strength.... so their deep balls end up underthrown or fluttering or lofted too high in the air. If you watch Browne's highlights, there are a number of throws that take FOREVER to get to the receiver downfield and would get picked off/get the receiver killed in the NFL. Also, anyone with half a brain who watched The Opening could plainly see 2 things:

1. Browne probably had one of the worst arm and the most underthrows of anyone who made it on TV (or I could watch highlights of).
2. Browne had many more 4 second violations than his competitors as he "surveyed the field."

Holding onto the ball and getting the ball downfield late are the kind of things that ruin QBs when they make the jump to the NFL. College is more forgiving, but he just doesn't strike me as the #3 player in the country. You tell me how many teams would rather have Vernon Heargraves instead of Browne if given the option of only taking 1.....

I should also point out that Browne jumped significantly up the rankings on every site immediately following his commitment to USC.

LIAR!!! this only happens with Notre Dame recruits... like that Jaylon Smith kid... he was a nobody two star... then he committed to ND and despite being confined to a wheelchair he jumped to a five star......... all to sell rivals subscripts... Notre Dame can't get players anymore!!!!!!! USC kids, on the other hand, come with five stars the second they desend from the heavens....

....

okay, I think I'm done channeling Colin Cowherd... thank God... move on.

Now there is something to say: I would MUCH rather have Jaylon Smith that Shane Morris. I don't care about position. I don't care about Tommy. I don't care.

A) Every report I have heard shows Shane Whining and pandering for postition.

B) I think he is topped out.

C) One of the things people are starting to recognise is that as good as he is, Jaylon Smith still has a high ceiling.

D) When SM talks about building a class, he talks in the purest of cliche.

E) Jaylon talks with incredible wisdom for his age.

F) In two years Jaylon is going to eat SM alive.

Just be excited that ND and its two biggest rivals Southern Cal and Michigan are really adding some talent and these games should be very fun to watch for the next few years. Could be three of the best teams in in college, with the results of the games having huge playoff/title implications.

It's sad really.

They are not really.

And two of the three sports reporters I have read from the Opening have said so.
