Farrell is also two days behind. Way to let Wiltfong do all the research and post it and wait a couple days later and say you have a "feeling" Mike.

They both must be wrong because Fister tweeted to Jaylon that Florida is leading.........

That has to make everyone feel pretty good.

Not necessarily. He has just as good of a relationship with Brenneman as Heuerman. His brother also is a student there and I believe he actually made the trip with him yesterday. I am sure PSU was talking down ND's one year MBA program and pumping up their 12 people a year MBA program.

I was referring to the everyone who was worried about UF being our only competition. Not you, Mr. Know-It-All.

I wouldn't have really held the university responsible and if I was a football player, I'd still consider them, but oh my goodness did you just bring that to my attention. I'd never not be able to think about that. Disgusting.

Damn you're fast. I changed it to "Mr. Know-It-All" in seconds and you still got the pic and posted in time.

If I had a kid that wanted to go to Penn State I wouldnt send there after what Sandusky and the administration did. Everybody in PA thinks Paterno is still a god. I dont think O'Brien is as good as advertised. O'Brien had success in the NFL was because of Brady and BB. I think he will be the next Charlie Weis without the arrogance.

If he were to choose PSU, the pOSU fans will melt down because of the excuse that was offered for decommitting considering all the Sandusky stuff. They are already in partial melt down that PSU is still in the running.

Those are all really good points. I would have a difficult time sending my son to a school that had that going on. I just hope he ends up here and can see the difference that he could make here. I'm telling you guys, if we can lock down Anzalone and add a stud CB this defense would be unreal!

I totally agree, Alex decommited because he took a picture with a sex offender, PSU actually had a staff member that is now a sex offender. What would worry me as a parent and Alex is, who else that hasn't come forward knew about it and did nothing about it. You can't tell me everyone has came forward that knew about the situation and did nothing about it, wouldn't that be as eary as just taking a picture with someone. To know that there are members of the faculty and possibly members related to the football team that had knowledge but did nothing. Now obviously no one really knows who knew about the whole Sandusky thing, but isn't that enough to stray you away from PSU, it's not as if this happened 10 years ago, this trial just ended. I'm sure there are still a lot of loose ends there at PSU related to the Sandusky trial that still have not been ironed out yet, who knows if this child abuse stops at Sandusky at PSU.

On top of that we are receiving a lot of verbal’s from some excellent talent around the country, don't you want to be on a team with a bunch of highly talented players? It's from my understanding we're at least on average between the numerous recruiting websites, a top 7 team in recruiting right now. I don't follow PSU recruiting, but I don't think there in the same boat as we are right now.

I hope he's the next Charlie Weis. The only thing is that Charlie would probably still be our coach if he had PSU's schedule. Their schedule is pathetic year-in-year-out.

Just to be clear, I believe that Alex decommitted for other reasons as well, but the pic with the sex offender was what everyone focused on. So even though that may not have been the sole reason for the decommit, that's what the pOSU fans will focus on. Hopefully we will not focus on that if he were to choose PSU for some reason.

He defends PSU on twitter when idiotic fans (like a ND fan) say things like "The showers are a safe place at NDNATION, no worries"..

The Sandusky situation is a huge bruise on PSU but IMO Alex would have dropped them from consideration, not put them in his top 2 if it was going to keep him away.

PSU has a real chance here, maybe even the upper-hand, being that his visit is so recent.

I still think he sees what's forming at ND and gets on board but I wouldn't be shocked if he blazed his own trail to PSU.

Penn State is an incredibly fun place to go to, with a live college town and a great tradition of linebackers.

Would not surprise me if he went there. Shouldn't surprise anyone.

Has he officially stated he will decide before the opening or is that just a "he may" statement?

This one to me feels that no matter his decision we will be after him until he signs his LOI. The staff wants him here bad and I know they will not stop. I still really like our chances but I do feel PSU has done their due diligence.

after seeing his recruitment...I think whoever he picks will be set in stone and final...meaning he is defintely giving this extreme thought and consideration and knows whenever he picks is where he is going.

He never said anything about it actually. He just said he would evaluate his options after he had visited the final three. It was the analyst who said he may.
