Per multiple sources (ISD, 247, etc.) the decision will happen circa 5:20 PM EST... sometime around an awards ceremony or something. Everyone is predicting Notre Dame.

This would be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Shoot. Will be at a cookout during the announcement. Going to be really embarrassing wetting myself in front of all my neighbors....

If we are blessed enought to get this stud, sure hope we see a few more pop. Would love to see a D landslide.

I can see how this obviously would help with other defensive recruits, but does anyone else think this could reap dividends on the other side of the ball?

Seems like few elite players want to be the only one to sign up for a team, and few offensive talents like to stand on the sideline and watch the other team put up 40. Jaylon, Rochell and the gang could help with both concerns.

Sounds plausible to me. I think overall having a consensus top ten player on either side of the ball is gonna get the attention of other big time players.

I had so much stuff to do when Devonte announced. Um yeah didn't get any of it done. At least I was happy though! Hopefully today has the same end result!

The camp being put on today is being sponsored by Anthony Spencer of the Dallas Cowboys, who is also a Bishop Luers Alum himself. He played his colloge ball @ Purdue. I am confident he chooses the Irish, but am not counting any chickens as we all know that nothing is guaranteed in recruiting. I will be following all day as I'm in a hospital room with my 2 year old, he had his Tonsils and Adnoids removed yesterday.

This guy has been so consistently high on ND for such a long time, it's very hard to imagine him choosing somewhere else. But if he does choose some other school, I don't think we would be just hugely disappointed, but we would all be hugely CONFUSED--has Jaylon just been playing us this whole time? some other school slip him a few? is ND just cursed?

Praying for a speedy recovery for your son. And if Jaylon commits today to the Irish, I am sure your son will be comforted by the big smile on his daddy's face.

Have my own graduation party so I'll have no qualms making everyone sit around while I constantly refresh IE. It's my party, I'll check IE if I want to!

Anyways this is great news, hopefully. I don't think anything matches the excitement of this board when things like this come down. This is what it's all about
