if that really is what happened then he deserves alot of credit. because alot of kids these days in those circumstances would either join those type of people and get in trouble, stand up for themselves and fight them, which would have negative results, or even worse be killed.
so if he was man enough to walk away and just leave the whole situation. then good for him.
he's a talented athlete that just needs the right guidance, he would have had the best here at ND. but its his decision
Let me add one more thing guys before you think I got all soft LOL: He's still a guy I wouldn't want at ND and IMO still a bit of a head-case/drama queen. Because:
#1, why is choosing Gainesville, FL, home of the team with about 30 arrests the past 5 years, if he wants to AVOID trouble? If anything, that's one of the last places he should have gone. Tell me you're going to ND, Stanford, Iowa, Boise St, TCU, Georgia Tech, BYU, hell, even Miami LOL...but don't tell me you're going to Florida to hang out with those jail-bangers. Be honest...say you wanted to win.
#2, I just wrote a whole thing on gangs, but I deleted and I'' just leave it at reason #1 being enough why I'm glad he's not at ND.
